I get what you mean, those flames do appear huge, but if that's some sort of fossil fuel repository or anything with large amounts of flammable chemicals that is definitely a plausible flame. There's no other indicators of AI, the smoke moves normally, there's no weird fore/background detail (or lack of), car movement is consistent and they don't change shape or color when passing behind each other. Just a gigantic-ass fire.

This is a great point! The Japanese have historically been seen as the harshest about this, but I found even in the ROK there was a very “us” “them” dichotomy. Not that they aren’t welcoming and great - they just adhere as a Korean unit, lol. I read a think piece about if reintegration were to happen, there would be obvious physical differences between north and south that would have to be reconciled.

I think you are significantly undervaluing the resources in Siberia - energy is 10%+ of the world's oil and 15%+ of the world's natural gas supply plus coal and uranium, plus hydro and significant minal deposits and the difficulty that Russia would have stopping the Chinese after depleting their military in the Ukraine and the vastness of the region. And there are less global consequences than attacking Taiwan.
