Nice. But turn the phone sideways for stuff like this... it's like I'm peeking through a gap in the door. Vertical for portraits, horizontal for landscapes and pictures of larger objects.
Thanks, I was worried I was the only one compelled to return to the "vertical video" wars by this. IMAGINE getting to see the ENTIRE CAR as it drives past..!
My clueless ass "Mr. Beaning" the other answers: Why that's Linda Hamilton in Black Moon Rising, the 1986 film that also starred Tommy Lee Jones, right?
One thats missing is the 1995 Ford GT90 concept car. It was meant to be a one-off experimental car built on top of a Javuar XJ220 chassis. It recently sold for about 3 mil. Definitely would recommend looking it up. For looking like a supermarket, I think it's a beautiful machine.
I preordered that thang in 2020. Held off on replacing my car for 6 years. Picked up a Polestar 2 while I wait another 6 years for Aptera to tell me about their tooling, validation, solar panels, and everything but producing a car that I can buy. Still want the damn thang but come on!
Where is My Elio! They could have just put any small motor in it and started selling them. Had to try to make into a performance vehicle.Everything has to get rated by Car and Driver
I found a whole one on Facebook and paid too much for it ($1000), but it actually seems to be an acceptable car now that i threw some parts on it. I guess i'll learn to drive stick once i tune the carb and check that the brakes won't kill me.
Lucky! I've always wanted one, but I'm in Northern California, and any one I find around here is listed for what seems to be collector's prices. I'm not paying $5k for an old Yugo.
For us, sure, but unless humanity destroys itself in the next 40 years, imagine how psyched they would be to find a pristine veteran car like one of these in a garage.
Oh, no doubt. I was just saying that the "driving" pictured in the video is on a closed loop around a golf course... then they go right back into a trailer to a garage.
And just not feasible to drive any significant distance. Their reliability is usually suspect, some are atrocious to drive, or the wear parts (or not supposed to be wear parts but are) are crazy expensive or impossible to replace.
THANK YOU! Driving your car brings up little problems to fix before catastrophic problems come from sitting. Use your machine and schedule mtce of equipment, or the equipment will schedule repairs for you.
I put mine on a 12V battery tender every month, for a day. It coped fine - yay for direct battery access from driver's dashboard. Tyres were flat spotted but simply rolling it into the sunlight for a day helped as did re-inflating..... 21 PSI on one and 25 on the others, so a topup helped.. Oils were fine too. The fuel system was my main concern.
So much joy to be had by actually driving these amazing vehicles. But yet so many owners just use them as art and an investment. If they’re not rich enough to drive and enjoy them because they’ll “lose value” they shouldn’t own them.
I think some people who own special cars like this take them to car shows to show them to other car enthusiasts.
It's something my father is big into. He was an amateur drag racer in his 20s. Used his retirement to buy the same '66 Ford model he used to race, and takes it to a dozen or so shows in the area every year.

DOS and Windows are two different operating systems.

Windows 3.1 wasn't an operating system.
KnifeySpooney
Windows all the way up to 98 ran on top of DOS. XP finally ditched it and ran NT as it’s kernel

It's a lot more than just a DOS shell if that's what you're trying to say

DOS Shell was its own thing too! 🤓

I'm glad that they are driving them around, license plates and all. It's a sin to leave fancy cars in garages and trailers
TacoPoweredHelicopter
An expensive luxury that benefits no one and spews out pollution?
People can have hobbies and interests, but it's not a sin to leave the car sitting. I don't mind if someone wants to.

I keep my Yugo in the driveway.

I actually found a Yugo in a Pick-n-Pull yard many years ago. I bought the steering wheel off of it and still have it. It's wall art now.

Car talk said a car should be driven at least 5 miles a week. This makes sure all your seals stay lubed and battery charged.

Fuel does go bad pretty quickly. Flue injection handles this better than carburetors.

It says one offs and concepts so i was just wondering if there was something different about that one
