That laugh right there? That is the stress of months of wedding planning being relieved. This woman probably worked for months if not longer to get the perfect day, to have her perfect moment, and here it all was being ruined by a verbal flub, but now she sees she's not mad at all. Not even disappointed. She's realizing that all that mattered was that she was here, now, with him, making a commitment with the right damn person for her. And it's wonderful.
One of my friends gave me this bit of advice, and I have passed it on when I could: SOMETHING is going to go wrong during your wedding. It just will. You have no control over this. So instead of freaking out about it, look forward to it. Lean into it. Because then it's happened and then its over, and you can just have fun and get on with it. For us, it was the sound-bar during the walk up the aisle. Nothing cuts the drama like the music cutting out to a loud 'THIS DEVICE HAS DISCONNECTED'.
I've seen this a lot, and that's ok, but I still lose it at ".....and pancakey". "I've been scared of this all my life" is just the icing on the (pan)cake.
Laughter and uncontrollable giggles are not an uncommon reaction to all the emotion and stress that goes along with getting married.. been there, done that.
The jp for my first wedding sounded exactly like this, we were all busting up laughing, he didn’t seem to mind and just kept going, when we finally got outside we all just stood there laughing for 10 minutes
I didn’t mess up my vows part, but when my wife walked down the aisle I instinctively leaned in to kiss her hello and she had to yell “not yet!!!” I feel like every weeding needs at least one endearing mistake
I love that I can still make my wife laugh. A few days ago, she seriously was laughing so hard she had to race to the bathroom. I told our daughter, “This is why she loves me.”
My husband and I were having a bit of a heated exchange the other night and suddenly he sneezed which caused him to fart so loud it echoed. I couldn't stop laughing for 5 minutes. You can't stay mad at someone who makes you laugh like that

He's at work. For them it's the best day of their life. For him it's just another shitty day at the office.

I think they have 4 kids now and have been through some health issues, they have a gofundme page but I don’t know if it’s still active https://www.gofundme.com/f/be-a-part-of-our-dear-andrews-medical-journey

Same thing happened to my parents at their rehearsal, but it was my dad hysterically laughing. He later said it was all the nerves coming out.

A marriage that starts with that much laughter is going to be pretty good.

Yupp not the funniest joke. Decent. But we usually have more fun with people we love. And she loves him a lot.
