Trust me, the tripod used above will not be any fun for play time. Use a proper cross unless you are looking to overextend your partners joints. For that use a properly secured ceiling hook.

Yea exactly. They tripod is a small area, floors often cant take that much point pressure at the feet, it would need secured to the floor, etc. Accident waiting to happen.

I've got a mobile tripod I use for shibari, it works just fine without being secured down long as it's not being used in a super dynamic scene! It's just got a wider top that makes the legs further apart so there's a larger working area (also it's probably sturdier since the thing is purpose-made for that)
