What if I told you Larry David was the real genius behind Seinfeld? When he left before season 8, the show suffered. Then he makes Curb Your Enthusiasm. Name one thing Seinfeld has created without Larry David. And what Larry David has created. I support the show because I support Larry’s genius.
There were for sure still good episodes. Classics at that. But the highest of the highs (marine biologist, soup nazi, the contest, the opposite) were all under LD. Also, Seinfeld never had another Seinfeld during his career. LD created Curb. He’s the goat

Nah, he did both at the same time, or just did the bass. What was great about Jones was that most songs what he did was invisible to most of the audience. What he did was all about how to make everybody else sound better. Plus he was the only member that never fucked up a concert, and he partied just as hard as everybody else.
And dude was groovy as hell. Often with just two notes! I had the good fortune to see him at a small venue and meet him afterward. He was very sweet and humble.
