Sessions, the Attorney General and racist Keebler Elf, today announced he’s ending the DOJ’s policy of mostly ignoring states who legalize marijuana. This was an Obama-era policy which lead to legalization in multiple states. It will now be up to local US Attorneys to determine how they enforce federal drug laws in their states.
He did this because, as we all know, the GOP, a party of principles, is firmly opposed to federal overreach and believes most issues should be left to the states to resolve...wait, what?
Really, he did this because he’s a regressive asshole idiot who was deemed too racist by the Senate to be a federal judge in the 1980s but is good enough for the Senate GOP to confirm as AG now.
