And what would the divorce court look like?

Spending a 100 grand on a single day.

3 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

I give it 2 years.

3 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

this is right below a post about starving.....

3 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

We largely prefered to spend the money on ourself. Made a nice picnic with friends, buffet, salads, 5 sorts of dessert. People liked that

My fiancé told me we’re not getting married unless it’s a dream wedding. Like this one… Fiancé 4 ever!

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Fuck the wedding. Give me that for my funeral...with darker tones and mugs of ale, like Valhalla.

Grandma's gonna trip on something.

3 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Churchmice are dying, poor things.

3 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

How expensive can it be if they have to have the ceremony in the dining room? Probably no fireworks

3 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

We get it. You vape.

3 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 1

Don't lie down on the floor.

3 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

You just know that’s a bridezilla

3 years ago | Likes 27 Dislikes 2

What a tremendous waste of resources for a vanity project.

3 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 4

I need to know where this is, at least for some photos!

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

I’d hate to lose an earring. Or my purse.

3 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Just think of how many tripping hazards you could hide! Small steps, loose shoes, extension cords, spilled liquids.

Now a Kardashian will have to marry again

3 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Wow, that's gaudy. I don't even want a big wedding. I don't like people staring at me.

3 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

Good thing this isn't your wedding then. Obviously the bride of this wedding likes it. To each their own

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Who wants to pay for all that. You're all invited to the party when we get back from the Bahamas!

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

$5 of dry ice + wedding = $500 dry ice

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Has anyone seen grandma?

3 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

*Gramgram in the corner hotboxing with Snoop like it's the '60s, again...*

3 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

That's magical

3 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

You got Def Leopard to play at your wedding?

3 years ago | Likes 63 Dislikes 1

Well their drummer has to pay for medical bills somehow

3 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

He's British — what medical bills?

3 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I meant after his assault in Florida

Heaven, featuring the gateway to Hell.

3 years ago | Likes 125 Dislikes 5

dont forget heaven is ruled by capricious tyrant. fitting lol

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

Why the whole gilded white or pastel clouded heaven? Were I to think it real, give me mountains, seas, varied forests and flowered meadows.

3 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

Sorry, all out. You get neon pink unicorns riding lightning bolts on clouds of cocaine.

I wanted to get married on 4-20 for that reason! Wife said no! She also said no to April fools day too! It’s easier to remember dates!

Smoke machines and LEDs are pretty cheap, the venue on the other hand

3 years ago | Likes 27 Dislikes 0

Anything can be a smoke machine if used wrong enough

3 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

I’ve built a fog chiller (to get the low rolling effect shown here) on a $15 budget… worked decently, too.

3 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

.

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I assure you that the volume required to fill this is one or two professional stage units. Source: I did this to a gym floor for a company.

3 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

and I did theatre tech work, smoke machines are cheap to rent from effects suppliers and running some channels with LEDs is cheap

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I did a 400-seat church floor for a rock concert. I assure you, it can be done cheaply.

Beautiful debt

Also known as "marriage"

3 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 6

My marriage cost about $7k with my wife. We saved up and paid in full day of

3 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

$2,000 for mine

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I once had a badass wedding for like $2000 including my dress and the catering.

3 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Marriage doesn’t have to be terrible. But it will be pretty terrible if you’re constantly fighting about money because you went into debt 1/

3 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

By hundreds of thousands of dollars for a party.

3 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

No no. I just got married and it cost a whopping $60 cause we both said fuck the wedding ceremony and just got eloped. We're happy 😀

3 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 0

Same. We got away with no one knowing until we had to update medical with HR. 2 hours later I had to go back to HR...

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

And in a meeting with the head of HR firmly explain why word of my marriage getting out was a privacy violation.

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I think it’s fun to party with your friends and family. But it doesn’t have to be crazy expensive. If I get married again I want an old 1/

3 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

timey reception where it’s kinda like a potluck in the back yard and the whole town comes over and dances until 2 am.

3 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

My only concern is small children being in the CO2 for long periods of time.

3 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 2

We had a nonCO2 version that was basically a powerful AC to chill the fog so the bugger was loud. Useful for venues which CO2 could not /1

3 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

be used, eg Schools. The CO2 version worked way better. They were all over priced. /2

3 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I doubt kids are allowed at that wedding

3 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

You’re probably right.

3 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

That's why you make it even better by making it a childless wedding.

3 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 2

It’s not CO2. It’s an alcohol-based fluid that vaporizes, leaving a lingering fog. Run it through a chiller, and it’ll crawl low like this.

Wrong kind of alcohol, unfortunately…

3 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

The alcohol vapor has a particulate quality that does not roll as “fluidly” as dry ice. This looks like dry ice

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That’s mostly temperature and air movement. I’ve had very similar results with the alcohol fluid through a good chiller.

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Idk. I’m skeptical. I’ve never seen it imitate CO2 that well.

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I've never seen dry ice moving yet so contained to a low height, and I live in the tropics. Can it really do that?
