Birmingham duo Rockers Hi-Fi began making music together in 1991, gradually shifting from ambient dub toward what would become trip-hop. Their rugged, dubby sound has a certain swagger. Like this track with its hypnotic, nihilistic Babylon mantra, originally released in 1995 and reissued last month.
