Ha! I see what you did with that title. Clever, clever

(people) staring at a screen causes accidents! (car companies) your dash board now has 2 more screens to stare at

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

My buddy had an over stuffed visor case full of burned cd's. Sometimes when he turned too hard cd's would fly out the window. Haha

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I can’t believe I never caused an accident doing this.

4 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

I got pulled over for exactly thing once because I was swerving. Cop thought I was drunk. "No sir... just trying to put in a CD."

The MapQuest printout XD

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Should have used a large paper map for navigation? good one, made my day??

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

well is still do that, love my cd's

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I almost died several times while reading Mapquest

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Heard enough of my burned Limp Bizkit cd... It's time for Foo Fighters!

4 years ago | Likes 26 Dislikes 0

I used to fold and wedge the MapQuest sheet into my vent like a makeshift NAV screen. No touch though :(

6 disc changer

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

This guy is still paying more attention to the road than most folks with a phone.

4 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

Amateur. You gotta get the new disc ready and do the one hand swap....smh.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

We had a 6 CD changer. Fill it with 6 CDs and choose wich one to use on the display

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Back in my day we only had 6 Cd's and they were in your trunk and it cost $10k to install and we were grateful for the opportunity

4 years ago | Likes 145 Dislikes 0

I still have a 6 disc changer and the stock basic stereo. I only realised it can read MP3 format CDs last year. It was like a revelation.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I had that. And I'd load up audiobooks from the library and remember pulling over to change the discs.

4 years ago | Likes 23 Dislikes 0

I remember finally getting a 6 CD changer installed and the god-like rush I felt over having 6 hours of music at my fingertips!

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Only 6? I'm from that same time and I had a 25 disc cd changer in the trunk that only took like $25 worth of wires and self installed

4 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 4

I have not bought a smartphone yet, so I have listened to the same Eminem CD since I got the car, in 2017.

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

My SO drove a car for years with just the Tarzan soundtrack stuck in the CD player and says he never tried to fix it cause it was amazing

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Ha! I had real maps, the foldable ones, without itinerary. I also had a book of all the maps of Italy in the backseat.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

He just put the cd into the open slot from the one he took out?!? Heathen! They have to be organized so you can always find the right tunes

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I was a master at this. I don't remember anything about the day that I took my CD binder out of my car for the last time. Funny thing, life.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

True

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I remember how cool it felt to drive in SoCal with a Thomas Guide and a CD changer that held 8 disks instead of just 6.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The MapQuest printout, did it for me.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

forgot grabbing the front of the radio out of your bag and attaching it before reaching for that book of CD's

4 years ago | Likes 261 Dislikes 1

Omg yes

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

And if you're player showed the title of the song scrolling past it was the epitome of tech.

4 years ago | Likes 46 Dislikes 0

This is so true it hurts…. (cause I’m old)

4 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

Everything hurts ?

4 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

only the knees, back, muscle, skin and bones. everything else is in great shape

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Just put the CDs in the visor case.

4 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

Oh my gosh, I never thought I’d feel such nostalgia for something like a cd visor case, but here I am.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Then it stretches out and all the discs go flying at a red light ?

4 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Please tell me why the car is in the front yard

3 minutes to type " what's up " in T9 text entry....

4 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 1

Pssh! You got used to it quickly. It's like touch typing, you learn. And then you can bang out your 140 characters without looking.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

T9 was easy compared to the regular ABC texting. You wanted to type the letter S, you had to hit that 7 button four times!

4 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Who puts a CD in their mouth?!?

4 years ago | Likes 51 Dislikes 11

Back then in that same situation lot's of people

4 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 2

Someone who is wildly overdramatizing something simple in their quest for viral popularity.

4 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 44

Sounds like you need to boycott all forms of entertainment then including movies, shows, music, and children. They all overdramatize

4 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

You must be fun at parties

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

That's me today. Not one of my 5 cars is auto

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

This plus rolling down a manual window, finding change to pay the toll, roll the window back up while shifting back up again.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

4 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

4 years ago | Likes 36 Dislikes 0
