It showed up in my feed. I can't hide it. I can't block this account. I can't hide posts for 30 days. I can't remove it from my timeline at all.
I don't even live in the United States. Welcome to the future, I guess.
Quick edit to save everyone the trouble: Yes, I could just delete facebook. But it's the only way I have to keep in contact with my mother, who lives on the other side of the world from me. So I suffer, for her sake.
