I’ve given girlfriends pedicures and the spreaders are critical to the drying process. My feet will be vulture talons due to genetics, regardless of foot care.
I remember flying to Denver from Buffalo around 1984. Had a 6 pack of Genesee Pounders(beer) in my carry on and a 100$ bag of coke in the front pocket of my Levi's red tags. The beer was for friends that couldn't get it in Colorado and the coke was for the layover in Newark. When the beer went thru the scanner and the metal caps showed up the guy just shook his head and laughed. Good times.
Yeeeea, some Security was once very very convinced I carried home made explosives. Turns out it was my sleeping mask with included headphones (wires looked like detonator) next to a carrot (the "explosive")
I have a knife on my key chain that folds up into a little grenade medallion thing and I forget to take it off and leave it at home ALL THE TIME and they've never caught it as a knife. I think they might be making it up as they go along, guys. So if you want to sneak a knife on board take notes I guess.

Their density makes packs of playing cards look like plastic explosives on their machines.

You must be really cool looking for them to think you're cool enough to just be carrying brass knuckles

I once had a hand-blown glass elephant in my bag that apparently looks remarkably like a hand grenade in an x-ray machine. Fun times...

I had a travel alarm clock on top of a pack of playing cards. Which apparently looks like a bomb on the scanner.

I once was taking a bowling ball. They apparently look very strange, and they had no idea what they were looking at.
