This guy has a federal public defender. Where is the fucking ACLU?? Immigrant defense fund lawyers? Jesus, anyone but a public defender. They simply do not have time to mount a credible defense. Who knows if pub D is trying genuinely? Also, I'd be curious to see an analysis from an actual experienced federal criminal defense lawyer as to how the case was handled.

The prosecutors and judges will face a tribunal with the rest of the criminals.

Disloyalty to the regime must be punished severely. A combination of ancient legalism and modern fascism.

Most corrupt nation in the history of man. Better post more memes with my head in the sand

2 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Is posting memes about something the metaphorical opposite of sticking heads into sand?

2 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

I’ve seen murderers and serial killers get less time.

wtf

Texas political lynching. Moving a box of literature is not a crime. And 100 years to his wife cuz some dude in the group shot a cop?! Can't be their brown skin can it.

Scanning through the complaint https://www.nlg.org/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/Fed-Complaint-Daniel-Sanchez.pdf , it appears he and some others were tagging an immigrant prison in tx and the zines or whatever were evidence that he moved or something, and they're saying it was also evidence of a larger plot, I guess there were firearms involved. Just scanned through it though.

3 weeks ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 4

Yeah, as much as i despise Trump/ICE and all of this nonsense, moving a box isn't a crime, they'd have to be tied to a larger criminal conspiracy of some kind. I thought that his partner was present when a shooting happened or something, he knew a lot of heavy scrutiny was coming their way so he was moving potential evidence or something, so it's like obstruction of justice or something? I could be remembering wrong though.

2 weeks ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

I hope that ICE agents have noticed that the sentence for killing them is now less punitive than the sentence for upsetting them... meats back on the menu boys!

2 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

next administration has a lot of pardoning to do

2 weeks ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Bad judge. APPEAL!!!!!!!!!

2 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Fascism you said?

2 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I hope so much that once certain "creatures" are no longer in power (hopefully fucking soon), these people will be set free again.

2 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

While still ridiculous this is a bit misleading. Having them wasn't the crime it was trying to dispose/destroy them after getting a call from his wife that led to evidence tampering charges. Again, ridiculous and politically motivated, obviously.

2 weeks ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 3

for the seemingly few sane people in texas, my condolences, but fuck texas and its fascist bullshit.

2 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Storming the capital and trying the put the entire government to the sword is still evidently not a crime. Do with that information what you will.

2 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

All of the traitor-trump Do"J" nazis will be punished and imprisoned as soon as he dies. The vindictively prosecuted will be pardoned and recompensed. Many trump enablers will die in prison.

U.S. District Judges Reed O’Connor and Mark T. Pittman. Appeals are already underway citing insufficient evidence, improper application of terrorism statues, first amendment claims, and of course eight amendment claims regarding the outrageously harsh sentencing, including the judge's decisions to make numerous counts run consecutively rather than concurrently.

3 weeks ago | Likes 148 Dislikes 1

man so much in america could be solved with very judicious application of high-velocity metal

2 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Thank you for naming the judges. Oust them.

2 weeks ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 0

Unfortunately without big Democrat wins in the midterms it's not going to happen. The only way to oust federal judges is impeachment and even if you get them out you have to block whatever asshole gets nominated instead because Trump's just going to sell an open judiciary spot to the highest bidder.

2 weeks ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Luckily there will be big Dem wins in the midterms.

Trump has done NOTHING to lower prices, and has dramatically increased them with tariffs and now the fucking Iran war!? ICE murdering citizens and grabbing "good" immigrants (their words), then spending billions on fucking up the white house, him & kids unbelievable corruption ($2+ BILLION so far!). Approval in the fucking toilet, Dems 💯 taking the House, 80% to take the Senate. Fuck them R's

2 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

You're assuming that the Republican Party isn't going to either cast enough doubt on the results to motivate a violent response from either the state or from their voters, that they aren't going to resort to electoral fuckery in the vein of voter roll purges or the SAVE Act, or that they aren't going to just falsify the election results wholesale and enact one of the two previous outcomes directly. They're ethnonationalists bent on enacting a fascist dictatorship, and the rules do not apply.

2 weeks ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Another day anther step closer to the jaws of a facist dictatorship closing around our country.

3 weeks ago | Likes 66 Dislikes 2

** another

3 weeks ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

If people are being arrested for possessing literature, free speech is dead, you are in a dictatorship

2 weeks ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Dude, you have been there since 2024.

3 weeks ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

Deeper, not closer

2 weeks ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 1

We are already there.

2 weeks ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 0

The other two got 100 years for attempted murder, and 70 years for ??? being part of a riot, I guess, and his 30 year sentence is because he "concealed" "evidence" by removing a box of fucking zines from his wife's car. Took about a year.

Meanwhile Ghislaine Maxwell got 20 years for trafficking multiple minors for sex, got it commuted to Club Fed, and is the only person to have been convicted in the Epstein case, 7 years after he didn't kill himself, despite AMPLE evidence. Fucking pedophiles.

3 weeks ago | Likes 234 Dislikes 1

The actual president moved boxes of classified documents and had the case thrown out by a pet judge. There's no pretense of the rule of law anymore.

2 weeks ago | Likes 31 Dislikes 0

The sentences are so high because they're being charged as members of the "terrorist organization Antifa". It basically means all members are in part responsible for any crime commited by anyone deemed a "member"

It's basically been tried as a criminal conspiracy rather than individual "crimes".

3 weeks ago | Likes 48 Dislikes 0

This is fucking ridiculous. Were all our deceased grandfathers Antifa when they killed Nazis the first time around? Democrats should claim Fat-Fascists is a terrorist organization and anyone supporting MAGA gets a 40 year jail sentence for being Fat-Fascists.

2 weeks ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

You're either antifa, or fascist. Not that hard to choose.

2 weeks ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

The current group of cunts in charge thinks we fought on the wrong side of ww2

2 weeks ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

And that needs to be appealed since there's no such thing as "anti-fa."

2 weeks ago | Likes 26 Dislikes 0

There is but it's like being indicted for being a member of friendly.

2 weeks ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

Honestly I'm starting to think my book of the month club might be a liability I can no longer afford.

2 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

We need to win in November so we can remove this party and undo all of this.

2 weeks ago | Likes 29 Dislikes 1

There is no way they are going to concede any kind of defeat come November. They will not let go of power no matter what.

2 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

And when they don't abdicate power no matter what the votes say what then? Why would they choose that time to suddenly follow the laws and constitution when they disregard it at every other turn?

Have a long think on what you're willing to do then.

2 weeks ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 2

I fled.

2 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Without disagreeing with you, that is a second problem, and one that you have more chance of overcoming IF you vote in overwhelming numbers, it is NOT a reason not to vote.

Both before and after you vote, yes, have a long thing on what you are willing to do then. Hell join your unions and community groups and PLAN what you will do then. But for the love of everything not fascist, vote as well, and vote in numbers! Overturning/ignoring an election will be harder for them than just winning

2 weeks ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

This is almost all that I think about it. It’s seriously pretty much always on my mind.
But we start with overwhelming victory at the polls. We can’t give in prematurely.
Your point is very well taken though, and I hope everybody is giving this a lot of thought.

2 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

2 options, support the pedophiles or become a terrorist (which is anyone who opposes them).

2 weeks ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Hell, by their definition my wife and I are already "terrorists." We're just not on their radar. Yet.

2 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yet

2 weeks ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

So, touch kids or be outwardly antifa

2 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Basicly 1 choice if you are a decent human

2 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

If I am not already on one of their lists of undesirables to be killed later they are more incompetent than I believed.

2 weeks ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I have very little confidence that, even if the current regime is unseated, the Dems won't actually take steps to reverse all of the harm done. They didn't dissolve DHS after Bush, Jr., they didn't pull rampant drone strikes from Obama's fingers, & they didn't make any big changes once Biden got in despite the several years of loopholes & outright flagrant violations exploited by Trump in his 1st round of gutting the nation.

I feel dissolution & Balkanaization of the US is the only way out.

2 weeks ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I'm game. The North can join Canada and the South can fester like the Third World Shithole it is.

2 weeks ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Free State Cascadia, all the way!

2 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I fled the country. I mean, I wish you luck, but if I thought that the elections in November would be anything but for show...

* If you have the support of the people, they'll invalidate the votes
* If you have enough votes, they'll get it overturned in the courts.
* If you win in the courts, you'll get it overturned on appeal to SCOTUS

2 weeks ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

I fled the first time around. Summer 2016.

2 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

So did I, but I made the stupid mistake of coming back when Biden was elected. The way I put it - the first time, I *left* the United States. The second time, I *fled* the United States.

2 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

* If you somehow get through SCOTUS, they won't seat the new Democrats
* And then it's back to the courts.
* And then if you win that, the establishment democrats will kill any accountability.
* And even if they don't, the executive branch won't enforce the law.
* And if they enforce the law, Trump will replace them.

2 weeks ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

* And if Trump's replacements still enforce the law... Trump will just send ICE to their houses and have them killed.

2 weeks ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

And for you, I absolutely understand, and hope you are doing well.
But none of those are a reason not to vote, for 2 reasons. A lot of people in your community and in other marginalised ones couldn't flee, and secondly, which you will discover more and more as an expat, US internal politics effects the internal politics of other countries a LOT more than you would think. Trump pushes all of us towards the far right, the global cultural hegemony has power far beyond its borders

2 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

By all means, you should *VOTE*.

I'm just saying that I'm not sure that it actually will make a difference.

But you should absolutely vote! I would LOVE to be pleasantly surprised!
