#16 I miss 24 hour stores. We definitely don’t have those in Sicily and even when I lived in the states die 5 years before moving here three years ago, it was so small of a town we didn’t have any 24 hour stores.. I feel like many closed during covid or maybe before…

#19 I grew up around southern white people in Texas and AZ. You need to specify midwestern white. Down here... we eat food that rivals the hottest Thai.

#7 the best part is when you run into someone who is so self absorbed with their persecution complex that they think you being autistic and comiserating about your shared behaviors and needs is you trying to upstage them. Not that I have any personal experience with that or anything /s

I'll never understood where people got the idea that white folk can't handle spice. My tolerance is so high that it needs to be over a habanero level for me to notice. I'm so white, I damn near glow in the sun.

2 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

Hot sauce is a beverage.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

As a white dude, it seems folks either can't handle a pepper flake, or put Uncle Scratchy's Sphincter Destroyer on everything. No in between.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I genuinely don't get it. I live in one of the whitest parts of the nation, and literally only myself and 1 other person in my ENTIRE SOCIAL CIRCLE don't like spicy stuff. Almost every single white person I know likes spicy stuff. Some of them are obsessed with it. Literally don't understand how this BS keeps getting spouted constantly.

My very very white son is receiving a hot sauce making kit, 5 different kinds of hot sauce, and a pestel and mortar for making hot sauce for Christmas. I on the other hand am like oh that Frank's is spicy lol

The owner of our local Mexican restaurant says that my daughter and I are the only customers ever to ask for seconds of their especially spicy "La DoƱa" salsa. And I'm so white I'm ginger.

#31 I saw a guy do this in South Station in Boston. Just walked up to a public table, set his hotdog down, and got something out of his bag. The table had obviously not been wiped down in hours. Zero fucks given.

Costco has the best glizzy for the price

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I learned about it when I was at a lake party, being a responsible older adult for my cousins and their many party friend, and cooking hotdogs and smokies over the open fire. One of the kids called me the Glizzy king, kept saying "glizzy" like it was in his lexicon for centuries. I asked him and his drunken response was so happy to explain that the glizzy is these as he motioned to this roasted hotdog I had just given him with absolute bliss on his face. I like glizzy b/c it reminds me of that

2 years ago | Likes 27 Dislikes 0

I swear it's like 60% performative, like when we were kids and we called shit weird names to annoy people, and then it took hold and we were all whoops.

Do your duty and call them something old fashioned weird back, like a wiener dog

Where have you been the past half decade

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

What weird sector of the country is it from?

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The internet sector lol. To be honest glizzy was first used as slang for a glock and around 2020 it became popular online for hot dog

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Makes sense, thanks!

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Its fairly common vernacular.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

My coworker, who is 31, is constantly looking for an excuse to say glizzies.

2 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

I can resect that.
