There’s technically three red heads in this post and a bunch of other stuff you probably won’t like ;)

#21 telling authoritarians and their limp-dick sycophants to fuck off does wonders for your morale.

Beautiful women in forests distributing plants from their nostrils is no foundation for a system of government.

#4 actually, this is called planking, which was a fad in the late '00s and early '10s where otherwise normal people would lie flat on things

Reading you describe it like a historical event hurt me. Mostly my back. Gonna get more ibuprofen...

Gotta watch the NSAIDs though, they can wreck your kidneys and give you stomach ulcers.

#19 Also, pigs do not sweat. They lack sweat glands, so in order to cool down they wallow in water or mud. Just sayin.

#16 it only turns on if there's foreplay, I think. It's been so long I'm not exactly sure how it works.

#20 In 1972, I was 5 years from being born. My father is somewhere in that photo on the left.

My father passed in 2021. It's been 5 years. The right photo has me, but my father is not there.

Reading this post hit me harder than I was prepared for.

Different years, but same. Didn't expect the gut punch.

#21 What I have learned from studying authoritarians is that, if you shoot them, they very quickly stop attempting to implement authoritarian policies. And that no other method is either efficient or effective at stopping them from implementing those policies once they've installed themselves in positions of power.

Owning them online doesn't help. Having meetings doesn't help. Being quietly offended doesn't help. The *only* thing authoritarians respect is capacity to commit violence.

Unfortunately you are absolutely correct. So many people are suddenly staunch pacifists in the face of those who absolutely are NOT. It’s disturbing to watch history continue to repeat itself like this

#11 “show me your butthole” used to be a common post on here back in the good Ol’ days …

4 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Asked that once as a request for making front page (good old days) and oh boy ... so many buttholes. So many male, hairy buttholes.

#12 I laughed. Is there any proof of this because a quick googling gave me nothing.

4 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

No, it's an untrue fabrication. If it were true, it would be common knowledge, not a shitpost.

No idea. It was posted as a comment when I posted this one…

#25 That's Pura Penataran Agung Lempuyang, or the Gate of Heaven, the entrance to one of the most sacred Hindu temples on Bali. This place is just a couple of hours drive from where I used to live. It symbolizes transition from physical reality into sacred, spiritual space.

#21 The constant trauma-induction is a side effect of the main plan: Flood The Zone. It refers to the idea that the News Cycles can be controlled by just generating one attention-grabbing thing after another. Over time, outrage, punishment, cruelty all filtered up to the top. "good news" didn't have any effect at controlling the news cycle, so they only do public punishment, nothing nice. They need the distraction machine constantly distracting. Trauma is just a nice side effect for them.

*Pulkkilanharju, Punkaharju is another neat place in South-Eastern Finland

4 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Oh, right. Thanks for the correction. It's been a while since I visited Punkaharju back in 2012.
