All that is clear is that he has no inherent understanding of any positive emotion throughout his entire life and that is both sad and extremely concerning because it means he has no moral conscience of his own to guide his decisions while also being very easy to manipulate by appealing to his basic egocentricities. If you try to forget all the truly awful things he's done, it's actually really sad. All of those things he's willfully missed out on are what make life worth living. Instead, he's spent his entire life on the pursuit of wealth, power, status, sex, possessions, and for what? The lack of a satisfying and rewarding life, and to be hated by more than half the country (likely most of the human race).

And it's sad to think of how he was probably treated as a child and teen to make him turn into this person. But at the same time he's a grown man, and when you're an adult it becomes your responsibility to make sure that your damage isn't being a burden to others.
