Please please go to every protest then. In Houston someone shot a supposed ICE agent, he wouldn't identify himself and tried to bash down the door - she faced no charges bc of "stand your ground" laws - similar to laws that protected Rittenhouse, they can stand even when away from your home. Someone who isn't afraid of fighting is ideal for the frontlines of this unchecked aggression, bc so many protesters are so afraid and not equipped. They need defenders.

When i do a violence, it's not a good time for all parties involved. Including me. Im the guy who will choke you out while making eye contact while you beat my face. I won't let go. I'll smash your teeth. I'll make sure you never forget what happened or, if it's personal, who did it to you. I don't want to be that way. It wouldn't be helpful. Until it is. Atm it's not. Be even more effective if we were connecting with other people of the same mindset in our local areas and start showing up to these events as an armed group. Still peacefully protesting but proudly with our weapons.

i was looking at a gun club thats near me before this, but since trump called any group that opposes him and a far right paper called out the group. theyve seemed to have ran off and hide from the world. i dont see them ever contacting me now. only the right is organizated at large scales. the left never had a desire for anything more than small independent groups and the center didnt care which they joined. i also live in a red area, so i alone anyways.

"Non-lethal" just doesn't exist. They use terminology like "less-than-lethal" specifically to acknowledge that pepperballs and rubber bullets can and have caused fatalities. It's a good thing that they're using more precise terminology, both because it makes it harder for them to weasel out of acknowledging brutality and because some of the crayon-eaters probably were firing rubber bullets willy-nilly thinking they couldn't kill.

I don't like to play Devil's Advocate, and won't hold water for pigs, but it's important that you understand that it's the 40mm rounds which are deadly at short range, not .50 pepperballs which are variant paintballs.
Both will cost you an eye at short/medium/long range without eye protection, but I have not seen any reports of gas pellet fatality at any distance, where 40mm launchers (pictured below) are liable to kill so at any range within their maximum.

Is the audio playing for you? I know it's been screwy on the app recently. If not, there is audio and you can clearly hear when they're shooting their paintball gun-looking weapons. The guy at the very beginning, pointing his weapon awkwardly down at the seated people, happens to coincide with the sound of four shots. Another guy at the very end fired three more.

I see a guy pointing a weapon but I don't see any shots being fired or anyone reacting as though they'd been hit, no clouds of smoke, etc. I do see the guy at the end firing shots but not what he's shooting or what he's aiming at.

Shooter(s) is/are out of frame, but can be heard firing repeatedly even before 0:07 mark is reached, when stun grenade detonates. Multiple cops can be seen wielding pepperball guns (hoppers attached above in manner which appears identical to paintball guns).

If they're shooting pepper balls, we should see the little clouds from them. Otherwise I would assume they're rubber bullets or paintballs. And without seeing what they're shooting, we can't just assume they're being shot point-blank.
