Actually, it is socialist. Because the capitalist executives didn't invest in upgraded infrastructure over the past 50 years, leaving the grid vulnerable during times of high demand so now the government has to ask the people for help.
Instead they should be demanding full audits of the grid providers across the nation, and mandating a much higher % of the gross profit being reinvested into upgrades while forbidding them from increasing prices to protect their margins.
