@OP, not ruined. Measure how far you got, slice your print at that point, print the remaining piece, and acetone weld them together.

Looks like it's a layer based change, most printers support M600 which (usually) includes a purge routine.

Your infill looks really high there. If you drop it to, say, 20% your print will run faster and you'll use less filament.

I can see the infill through the perimeter. Likely means your perimeter is too thin. Add 1-2 perimeter thicknesses, and drop infill to 15%
