Nope

A few nights ago, I was at a concert by middle & HS students- a friend’s son was one of the performers. Afterwards, we were shooting the breeze and my friend’s son introduced his best buddy to us.

Both were 15yo: one was over 6’ tall, the other hadn’t yet hit 5’.

I hope his agent and parents kept him away from producers

This is why its impossible to believe 99% of anime set in a school. They all look like they're fucking 30.

That is _so_ much hair.

My friend’s 2 year old looks like he’s 10

I think I read something that he and Keira Knightly were only a few years apart in Love Actually

4 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Doesn't he still look like this even tho he's like 36

He proved his acting chops in that movie. It still feels harder than anything he's had to do as Spider-Man.

4 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

He does a ton of the stunts to the point where it's actually a huge waste to have him in the suit so much.

4 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

He was Jojen Reed in GoT too.

4 months ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 0

Just googled. He's my age. That means he was like 20+ when GoT started. Probably 25+ by the time he was on the show. He looks like he's 13 in GoT

Him and the guy who played The Mountain in the early seasons are the same age. Some people just age different I guess.

I remember seeing that! yeah thats crazy!

Casting directors like baby-faced people because it lets them cast older, more mature actors for younger roles.

4 months ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

The big thing is getting around the child actor time limits, both time of day and amount of time per day. It gets more restrictive the younger they get, which is why infants/toddlers are often cast with twins, so they can get double the time per day. Also, TV is more affected, since they're typically trying to film more footage per day. An hour-long TV episode may only get a week to film, while a 2 hour film may shoot for months.

Labor laws is a huge part of it, definitely. But that also connects to how an older kid is going to be just that more disciplined and easier to work with, which makes getting shit done within those shorter time-frames more likely.

My wife and could never remember this actors name, so we just called him "Baby Bird", and instantly we both knew who it was.

My wife and I used to call Jake Busey "the evil Nick Nolte" because we didn't know his name.

OK, tbf, (from Wikipedia), filming for Nanny McPhee occurred April-July 2004, and Thomas was born in May 1990. So he was a 13-14 year old playing a character (Simon) who is 12. I accept that he is very young looking, but that wasn't really silly casting...

He was also in game of thrones and was much older and still looked exactly the same.

4 months ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Yeah, I've got a 12-yr-old grandson who doesn't look any older that those pictures of Thomas.

I work in a middle school and some of the children do look that young. Some of the 8th grade boys are also 6’3” and I worry about them getting shot if they look sideways at a cop. Whenever I get a chance I tell them to never run from a cop even if your friends do. He will shoot you in the back and swear in court you were a man. Stay still, answer questions, let them hand cuff you and know that it will hurt when they do, but don’t resist. And we sue them later.

I graduated from high school at 17 and could have graduated at 16 but my parents thought I needed the senior year experience. Even at 17 I looked like I was 12. I was 5'4" in 1963.

My own kid has messed up how I age others in my head. At 14, my kid was almost 6 feet tall, and could grow a full mustache, goatee, and some pretty epic sideburns. Meanwhile at 23, I had cops thinking I wasn't old enough to drive my car.

You should have seen him act when he was 10.

Hes in the Maze Runner, a little predictable but overall a fun trilogy to watch.

4 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I loved it, but dont tell anyone.

4 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

SPOILERS: i liked the first movie, but i don't think there was any thought put into what happens after that because it is so generic, bland, and boring as soon as they

4 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

manage to leave the maze. didn't have any of that "wanting to know what happens"-energy of the first movie

I think the biggest giveaway is she was in Bridget jones a year earlier

4 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

You can see it better from a still but in the movie you really couldn't tell.

4 months ago | Likes 43 Dislikes 2

She just really had this ghoulish figure about her. It was very slimming and de-aging!

4 months ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

She did a movie in 2004 called Dirty Filthy Love that is fucking great.

4 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

She’d already been in Bridget Jones before that role

4 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Ye but you could tell that there was something off... it was just not as obvious because of the transparancy

Dr Who is an odd show... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Love_%26_Monsters_(Doctor_Who)

Honestly, this was one of my favorite episodes. It was just a lot of fun.

4 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Huh, im starting to wonder why I havent watched Dr. Who at all yet. However, fuckable floor tiles is peaking my interest.

I think they spell it Beijing these days.

4 months ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

I know I probably give this warning in vain, but the floor tile episode was an especially dogshit episode in an already dogshit series

4 months ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 6

I liked that episode.

4 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Thanks for the warning. I honestly avoid Dr. Who. I tried the series that starts with the like flesh lady alien canvas that had to get watered or whatever. Wasn't for me.

The catgirl-nurse-nuns in that episode were kinda cute, though.

Noo don't listen to one person saying it sucks, listen to the two that say it was enjoyable! that was a fun episode
