Mmm, floating animals... I've found on more than one occasion birds and small animals that have fallen into deep things of water and not been able to get out. I have a habit of turning anything deep enough over if it doesn't have a lid.

Actually it's the other way round. we USED to have a lot, but the climate change has messed it up for them so we get a lot less than we used to. This year just had a rare amount of "normal" conditions for them. Climate change seems to eliminate them here. Wonder what would get rid of the ticks here

How many mosquito donuts do you need? Just one a day…or 1 every few hours…? If I have 4-6 in the morning, will that keep mosquitoes away for a full 24 hours? I need the specific dose….until then I’m walking around with a donut in my hand!

I'd help with mosquito control and Winnipeg Manitoba when I worked for the city. We go around door to door and make sure people emptied out the standing water in their old tires they had buckets Etc and when that failed we also sprayed the catch basins for the storm sewers for the larvae growing in them after the summer thunderstorms
