This has to be the best werewolf movie ever.

Back then drive in would do double features. I was 4 my brother 3 we always fell asleep before the second movie. Until the folks thought it would be safe to see this, we didn't fall asleep and had nightmares for a long time after. I didn't try watching it again until I was in my mid 20's. It is a pretty good film, just not for a 4 year old.

When that mirror scene came on I noped the hell out of the theater, lol. I couldn't do scary movies back then. Still not fond of horror movies to this day.

Shut up, I'm not that old!!?? This was the first movie I saw that really scared me. No closed shower curtains for me.

"Perhaps you'd like to watch the telly, whilst I take a shower." 19 year old me wanted a hot nurse to take me home.

Back in the Golden Age of practical effects

Great soundtrack, brilliant effects. Excellent story, absolutely nightmare fuel of a nightmare sequence. Zero fat on the film's runtime. Just fantastic.

One of my fave all time movies. I even made a post about it years ago.

It was about five years ago…nothing to be proud of. I think it was hidden, just edited I think.

Ah, but where is it in this one?

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It's the name of the movie where the protagonist turns into a werewolf in the cinema.

Second down on the left has to be one of the most terrifying things I’ve ever seen on screen.

I saw it on Laserdisc the first time when I was a kid in the early 80s and it scared the hellllllll out of me. It's now one of my favourite movies.

Great movie. Hilarious, scary, funny and gory...and little bit sexy. 5/7.

His hair was perfect.

That song is not even in the film, which frustrates me to no end. The soundtrack is every pop song they could find with "moon" in the title, but not the most perfect possible song which had been released 3 years earlier.

The movie is a classic horror champ. Besides what's usually praised like the practical effects, one of my favorite aspects of the movie is the physiological curse of the werewolf's victims. It's simultaneously terrible and humorous!

Awesome flick. I remember watching it as a kid. My mom and I would watch scary movies on Friday nights when I was a kid.

Same. I was like 7 when it came out. I’ve not seen it since because it’s a core memory now. Thx dad

Same! Mum introduced me to this, along with Big Trouble in Little China, and Tremors. Still faves to this day!
