Will say, #2 could be untreated narcolepsy (though my first instinct is always alcohol or drugs too tbh). Took me more than 3 years to get a diagnosis other than "eat better" "exercise more" "you're not anemic so you're probably just bad at sleep hygiene." It's scary pulling over because you know you can't drive, and trying to get a quick doze in to see if it helps, and then to be woken up by a stranger. You can be insanely disoriented and in a very active dream within minutes of closing your
eyes. Narcolepsy is technically diagnosed by going quickly into REM sleep and mostly staying there. You're prone to night terrors and sleep paralysis. Dude could have even had an episode of cataplexy after waking up, where you lose all muscle tone and can't move and maybe not even speak for a period of time. Could easily see this having happened here...unmanaged narcolepsy is dangerous af for driving got obvious reasons, and it's hard to get the sheep studies for a diagnosis/meds after paid for.
#2 if someone is passed out like that on the road you should call 911 first because they are most likely either passed out drunk or having a medical problem.
I used to unload box store plants for a job. Those are the small carts, and even those weighed at least 200lbs loaded with plants(plants are always watered right before being loaded up and having plastic wrapped around the cart). He is legitimately lucky he didn't kill anyone. And he is so stupid for thinking that would end up any other way.
Why would they stack them with loose mini pillars on the 4 corners like that? As the ceramics heat the weight can shift slightly meaning the probability of tipping starts very high and goes up from there.
Would it not be easier/cheaper/more efficient to maybe build the structure the things being heated in the kiln on so doesn't become brittle and shatter with relatively little force?
Eh, you're usually gonna be fine as long as you flush your eyes for a good long while. But if there's lots of pain or excessive redness/swelling def go see a doctor (this is also the US, I have no insurance and have had gas in my eyes before lol)
Used to be a full on lever. That being said I can't entirely blame her for not knowing that . Something clearly broke here and she got it all over her and in here eyes. Not sure this qualifies as an idiot.
It’s likely the flap. It’s equally likely she didn’t know that and is used to it just shutting off by itself when the tank is full. This is why some places do not allow you to pump your own gas.
This, I think. And she pulled it out before it was full so the lever didn’t auto-stop and she doesn’t know enough to just squeeze the lever a little to release it.
I'd considered that, but those always disengage automatically when I use them as well, but I'm sure there are older models that aren't as reliable, and in fact around me they disappeared for like a decade presumably because of that exact reason.
Anyone doing box jumps ever, pls dont jump at the corner, jump at the side. Also, focus completely on placing your feet on the box. If you dont make it all the way up, you just step down again.
I do have that equipment, and I once sat on a car seat bracket that hit in the female "taint". I guarantee, that hurt like Hell's own balls getting stepped on.
I also wouldn't class this as an 'idiot' either. That's a regular exercise, just a mistake with foot placement. This and the petrol one that looks like an equipment malfunction, rather than idiot action.
I don't understand what he did wrong. Was he going too fast? Are you supposed to wait for the bus to start moving again, even when you're on the other side of the road?
The little sign on the side of the bus means children were crossing the road. He effectively ran a solid red light and endangered pedestrians in a marked crosswalk.
No such rule outside of the US. Seems crazy to stop the opposite direction, just educate kids not to blind cross or put crossings in at school drop offs surely...
There is no way to possibly put in crossings for every bus stop. And with the "design" of roads, there is no practical way to make it so kids don't have to cross roads at all locations. It is easy enough to make the rules to have vehicles stop. It is the tiny percentage of fucking assholes who can't wait 30 seconds that do this shit.
when a bus is dropping off kids, it has a little “stop sign” flap that comes out (which is not visible to the audience in this video); it is illegal to pass the school bus when the “stop sign” flap is out
School busses have stop signs and flashing red lights (look at the top of the bus). When the sign is out/lights are flashing it’s illegal to pass the bus on either side of the road. This is because kids often cross the road after getting off the bush and an oncoming driver would most likely not see them until it’s too late. It’s a big no-no and super dangerous because kids are so unpredictable (and may or may not have mastered the whole “look both ways before crossing” thing)
