I dunno, I don't think it would use his proper name. I'm envisioning something like A Boggy Billy

#5 Follow up? Nah, working title.

#1 "You can drink it fast or you can drink it slow, but your lips have got to touch the toe" - if you know, you know.

5 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Didn't somebody swallow it and they had to get another, or something like that?

5 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

They have a selection now - some of them pretty nasty.

#28 - This is so stupid. So f*ing hilarious.

Irish spelling will break the brain of anyone who learned English first. Familiar letters seldom represent the sounds you expect.

Saoirse = sore-she, I think

I keep waiting for an opportunity to impress someone with my flawless pronunciation of Siobhan, and someday it *will* happen!

5 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I watched a movie once.and there was so many Siobhans listed in the end credits and i was confused how i had never heard that name before. Only I had but never could have imagined that's how it was spelled..

5 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Sound it out fer me please? I see it so often.

5 months ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Shuh-VAWN or shiv-AWN.

5 months ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Ah yes, thanks!

5 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Gaelic spelling of John (feminine) if memory serves. My roommate in college had a sister with that name. It's lovely!

#1 What did they replace the toe with? It's pretty important for balance.

5 months ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 0

I knew someone who had that surgery. He would bet unaware people that he could stand there and press his toe against the top of the doorframe.

Put a real spring in his step... I'll see myself out.

5 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Well, they did find his thumb...

5 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

It's helpful for balance but not nearly as important to your function as an opposable thumb

5 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

A fork

5 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

how did he get to the hospital? a toe truck?

5 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Actually pretty common. You learn to walk normal again. But who TF gives a wet willy with the thumb?

5 months ago | Likes 24 Dislikes 1

My grandpa had to do a balance test to return to flying status just 30 days after losing his left big toe. He was able to balance on his left foot for three minutes and it was still healing. Your body adapts scarily fast.

5 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Is it the body adapting scarily fast or did people just really oversell how important the big toe is for balance? Like yeah it contributes to it but the way people carry on about it you'd think your big toe is the only thing keeping you from life in a wheelchair or something.

5 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Well people can adapt to pretty much anything that doesn't instantly kill them. But yea, you use your big toe a lot to balance.

5 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I would if had that for a thumb.

5 months ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Well apparently it's pretty common; go live your best life, my dude!

#10 Neil deGrasse Tyson voice, "ackshually, it's not flame, it's plasma. There's no oxygen on the sun, so combustion isn't possible."

5 months ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

There is some oxygen! About 1% by mass. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CNO_cycle

5 months ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

it's just too hot for combustion

5 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Dang it, and I almost looked it up to be sure I wasn't saying something untrue. Oh well, at least I've learned something new!

5 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

It's ok! You're still right that its not really 'flame'. ♫ ♬The Sun is a mass of incandescent gas, a giant nuclear furnace... ♫ ♬

5 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

They updated that song:
"The sun is a miasma of incandescent plasma..."

5 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

oh wonderful!
