Absolutely 100% with you on not being able to tolerate his voice. However, one of the problems with going to print to see what he said Is that journalists and translators have had such difficulty accurately representing how he presents himself. Historically, they have pulled a few words from batshit crazy ramblings to make it seem to readers as if he actually discussed policy. Unenviable work that, unfortunately, had made him seem more focused, intelligent, and present than video clearly shows.

Although I have appreciated in more recent articles that I have seen him quoted verbatim, replete with the lost trains of thought, the wrong names, the false starts, the babble, almost as a “fuck you” to him. Like, a few outlets are simply done trying to make him sound presidential. We could’ve used more of that when he was getting started, but I’ll take it.
