#1 for a brief second I didn't realize this was talking about a video game. The edit killed me until I realized.

Ahh a flashback to a better time, a global pandemic. What a shitty world we live in.

#26 What about 20 year old games?

2 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

#20 fake, but there really was a Trump rally where smaller boats were (accidentally?) swamped by larger ones

2 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

#4 Considering Babylon Bee is a satire site, yes.

2 months ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 0

It's a conservative fake news outfit. I won't say satire because conservatives do not understand satire

#5 like fine milk

2 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

#4 yes, they are, it's literally from a satire site.

#7 I think I need to look Barbara up next time I'm down in Biloxi. She seems like a hoot!

2 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

#5 sure aged poorly

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

#4 clearly for redneck trans men.

These memes have a certain "lock down" feel to them, don't they?

A fine vintage, yes

Makes me nostalgic. Back when we all had a common set of enemies, idiots and the virus. Now we have super mutant idiots in government, and total collapse of civil society.

Nostalgic for a time when Jan. 6 insurrectionists were being jailed. A faint glimmer of hope for an impeach and barring from office. I hope there is a real eternal hell for Mitch McConnell to roast in

I wouldn't know. I was working the whole time.

2 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Yeah, I'm just now organizing my 2021 folders lol

#9 masks stop O2 oxygen and somehow don't block virus particles millions of times larger cause... uh... reasons /s

2 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I literally had to explain this exact thing to a grown man in 2020, i even used examples like a chain link fence, a basketball, and a mosquito and it still didn't work. It was infuriating then and still is now.

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It's worse too, cause virus particles are carried on water droplets that are even larger so it's more like a mosquito going through a chain link fence with holes the size of a schoolbus, while the virus particles are in droplets the size of a house

Yeah with parts prices the way they are, I'm not paying $80 for an unfinished, poorly optimized game.

2 months ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

Unfinished games aren't really a problem for me , it's the charging a high price for a game that may or may not get finished. If your gonna release it unfinished lower the dang price to make it worth getting in that state, then up it when the game is finished.

there's lots of new games coming out that arent 80 buck AAA slop tho

2 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

My games backlog is so long, I'm sure the bubble will pop by the time I need an RTX 50-something, and I'll be able to afford it by then.

My favorite games of the past several years are all made by small indie studios: Celeste, Outer Wilds, Slay the Princess, Receiver 2, Hollow Knight Silksong, and Tunic.
Slay the Princess was literally drawn in pencil, and the minimum requirements only list 4GB of RAM.

#26 My partner just got a new graphics card for his gaming rig, and we're playing Dragon Age: Inquisition right now! Still a great game.

Babylon Bee is like a right wing version of The Onion.

2 months ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

It's Babylon Bee, so yes, it's satire, and no, they don't like trans anyone.

2 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

reminds me of, you know how fucked your humor is by how quickly you learned Steve Erwin died and cracking a joke

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

When he was alive, people were constantly saying this guy is gonna die doing this. Then people were surprised when he died doing that stuff, but the real surprise was it was freaking stingray.

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Right? Some kind big big cat, a wild boar, shit even an elephant or something was the thought.
