Oh jesus I cried at the first gif.

Do it, I've lost both of my parents in the past 12 months and would hate to have not seen/spoken to them

10 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

You're not crying, I'M Crying.... wait.

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

well wtf. I'm a grown ass man sitting in an office and I'm officially crying. fuck you OP, I have clients to meet with you know.

10 years ago | Likes 85 Dislikes 1

The curious part is, that this is a supermarket commercial. But they really managed to put the feels into the focus and not the products :/

10 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

How very posh, he has an "Awnsering machine"

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

One thing I'm so thankful for is I had a great relationship with my Dad, he died young, but we had no unfinished business. I miss him though

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

This is inversely true for me. My parents were abusive narcissists and I happily say no to Christmas invitations.

10 years ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 0

Same here ! Haven't spoken to my mom in 6 years (except through lawyers) and I feel great !

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Don't let an argument end a relationship @OP. It happened to me and my Dad. He died. I'll regret it for the rest of my life.

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Damn OP, 20 years? I can't stand not talking to my parents for one week.

10 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

SON OF A BIT**!!! The Feels were struck harder than the family's reaction to dad no actually being dead! +1 OP

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

a thought like above recently happened to me as well. Haven't spoken to my father in over 2 years because something he did. 2 weeks ago

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I called him up and arranged lunch immediately. Never felt more better about myself for any other decision.

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I'm horrible b/c I avoid my family. My mom hates me, and my dad has dementia (he was born in 36, I'm 23) I should go, as they live 2 blocks.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Just started speaking to my dad again after 6 months. Excuse? I don't have one...

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Immediately called my grandparents and gossiped for an hour about a neighborhood cat. Gold.

10 years ago | Likes 38 Dislikes 0

Best conversation ever. Thank you

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I was crying until he stepped out!! ok I was after too but different crying. Watch the video, the music makes it.

10 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

this hit .. hard. Haven't seen my parents in over two years (since the funeral of my gran). Luckily we do speak regularly though.

10 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

Can't wait to see them this year with Christmas. Two and half weeks to go

10 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

10 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Well shit. I just hopped on the feels train to feelidelphia.

10 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

If your parents are decent people, see them at least once a year. Period.

10 years ago | Likes 39 Dislikes 1

I Skype every weekend. But tickets are $2500 to go see him :(

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Shit, once a year? Do it every chance you get.

10 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 0

Agreed, but that's my baseline. Sometimes people live far away.

10 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

I see one of them all year round, the other, not at all. It works out, I think...

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

First holiday season since my dad died. I wish I could see him again, go for it OP! Don't wait until you regret not trying!

10 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Didn't talk to mine for 15 years. Mom convinced me he hated me. Got in touch, we hit it off amazingly! Best friends. 1/2

10 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

My Mum's stepmom wouldn't let him speak to her from when she was 12 years old. Some people are so selfishly bitter.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I visited as much as possible. He even walked my wife down the aisle when hers wouldn't. I visited him for Christmas '12. Died new years day

10 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

So glad you didn't let your mom's bitterness keep you from that relationship.

10 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

This is why I am so careful not speak ill of my nephew's "egg donor" in front of him. She's the only person I legitimately 1/2

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

wish death upon (its a story), but I want my nephew (who is 4) to make his own decisions and not resent me for mine 2/2

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

German spot for EDEKA supermarkets giving the UK Xmas howlers a run for their money this year.

10 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 1

English Christmas ads are just generic slow breathy songs over a representation of the "perfect" Christmas. Same shit, every single advert.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Often, but this year the Muppet Show for Warburtons, Lidl Xmas School, Mog the Cat, they are different.Last year Boots and Nexus won for me.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

As someone who just lost his dad in January this really hits fucking home. Harder than any hammer.

10 years ago | Likes 49 Dislikes 0

I think an actual hammer might hit harder though. The potential to kill you.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

No. Nothing can top the loss of a parent except maybe the loss of a child. It was a pain unlike any I've felt and it's never fully gone away

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Alright. I was just joking, it seemed a bit inappropriate but I did it anyways.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Ditto. Lost dad at the end of October. My 40th birthday is next week, then xmas...I just want to disappeat until January.

10 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Yea. I just turned 37 this month and it was the first thanksgiving, birthday, and will be xmas without him. I feel the same.

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

He's still with you, and will be with you watching over you.

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Stuck my dad in the ground inside a pine box in March. Christmas this year will be different.

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Buried my Mum in March. I feel you, bro.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Thanksgiving was weird. Like Mr Meseeks "Jerry it's gettin' WEIIIIIRD" weird.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'm gonna save this one for all the times I "don't want" to go to a family occasion. I feel like a bag of dicks right now

10 years ago | Likes 408 Dislikes 2

You are disgusting. A bag of dicks...

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

My weekends are precious dad. So are mine son, so are mine. I'm such an ass.

10 years ago | Likes 41 Dislikes 0

Jesus that's rough

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I skipped my thanksgiving this year bc I got too drunk during the packer game to travel 2 hours. I'm a shit.

10 years ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 1

Hey, at least you didn't drive drunk. Don't beat yourself up about it.

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Do it! I live 3500 miles away from mine. I'd give anything to go to a family dinner.

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Then do it. Its just money. Dunno your financial situation but money is easy replaced.... Missed family dinners arnt.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

My sister and I got into an argument last year right before Xmas. I was planning on seeing her for her birthday in May to reconcile. (1/2)

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Me too .. me too :(

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I never understood not wanting to go. I love my family, no matter how annoying they can get.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I will just assume you never had to call police to your dinners then. But still, they've been there for me and I will be there for them

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I don't spend enough time with my grandparents. They're retired now and call me all the time. I'm usually asleep when they're awake. 1/2?

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I work night shift, have for a while now. Not really had much time to go see my family and when I have an off day I wanna spend it doing 2/?

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

nothing much. I always have plans to do things but never do, usually. Perhaps instead of sitting at home and watching youtube or playing 3/?

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

games or procrastinating getting back into making music (need to learn basic sound design principles and stuff) i'll go and spend some 4/?

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

time with my grandparents or my mother. I also miss my mom's dogs, poor Scooby probably doesn't have too many years left. Used to sleep 5/?

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

"Alright you old shit, pull this again and I'll plan your funeral myself whether or not you're dead. ...now pass the stuffing."

10 years ago | Likes 99 Dislikes 1

Read that as "snuffing". I feel uncomfortable now.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

hahahha oh my good god. if i were in public i would look bipolar, from really sad to laughing my ass off.. thank you good sir.

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I remember being asked if I wanted to visit my great-grandmother before I went on deployment once. I didn't feel like it because it was 1/2

10 years ago | Likes 199 Dislikes 0

I remember, the day before my 16th birthday, i got asked to visit my grandmother in the hospital. I didnt really want to.. 1/2

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

But i did it anyway. She wasnt terminal or anything like that, but the whole family went to visit. We had a blast. 2/3 sorry i messed up

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

3/3 The day after ( my birthday), i awoke to the news of her passing away. She was the one closest to me.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Same here bud. Went to Korea.Dad begged me to go to Grandma,I wanted to hang with friends. came back to nz. She had an accident with a truck

10 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

more important to me that I got drunk with friends (who I don't even talk to anymore, btw). I never got to say goodbye. 2/2

10 years ago | Likes 171 Dislikes 0

Had the same chance, coincidently the funeral was at the same time as my mid tour leave so at least i got to do that

10 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Great-grandparents don't qualify as immediate family, so I didn't get to go home for it. I didn't even find out until after I got back.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yea it sucks immediate family doesnt qualify i just got lucky with when my leave was scheduled... If you can call that lucky

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

More like "less unlucky." And yeah, it sucks, but to be fair if they let you go home for everyone, there wouldn't be anyone actually there.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

We all have regrets like this.

10 years ago | Likes 29 Dislikes 1

Oh yeah. I regret it, but it's not like I can change it. Which is why I don't dwell on it.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The last time I had the chance to see my uncle was when he went to my fathers for a cookout. He went into a diabetic coma a month later

10 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

I'm now sitting in class crying next to complete strangers, it was worth the feels. Thank you OP.

10 years ago | Likes 114 Dislikes 1

Why are you in class with a bunch of strangers?

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

Do you want a hug? I'll give you a hug. At work I'm known as the hug ninja.

10 years ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 2

I want a hug :(

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I like hugs. Lol

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I haven't spoken to my mum in about 13 years. I've tried, she doesn't. My conscious is okay with this fact.

10 years ago | Likes 153 Dislikes 2

Not that long for me, but sane with my dad. My mom updates me about what he's doing but I don't really care. He made that choice.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I call my mum twice a year. Call always ends in me crying. This year she responded badly to the news of my newborn. Im not trying anymore.

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

This is a pain that is unbearable, and a line you just don't cross. My mom did this when I told her I was pregnant after 5 yrs of trying.

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I haven't seen my grandfather in like 6 years last time I saw him he said "nice to meet you"

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

*conscience That really, really sucks. I'm sorry to hear that. I don't know your situation, but it's never too late to mend fences if /1

*conscience That really, really sucks. I'm sorry to hear that. I don't know your situation, but it's never too late to mend fences if /1

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

/2 you both really want to.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Why do perents

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Going on ten years with my dad. I was twelve when he decided he didn't want to be a part of my life anymore

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I feel you. Mum left at the same age. And a few years later gave up all legal rights to get out of child support. Best thing to happen tho.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

My dad did the same thing, completely gave up custody of me and two of my siblings to my mum. He only wanted custody of my brother

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Even though it was selfish. If she hadn't of done this.l I wouldn't be living in Australia now. My life is much better now. Happy ending yay

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

this video is about people being too busy for family. You are living a whole other story line. hugs.

10 years ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 0

I haven't spoken to my birth mother in more than 20. That was for safety. I don't really interact with my other parents now, but I did -

10 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

friend them on facebook. They can see what's going on, but none of us need to pretend we need to be in the same room together.

10 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Alcoholic family with lots of abuse. My kids have no idea what family alcoholism is like for a dependent child, and that's good enough.

10 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

I'm going on two years. My mother and step-father are emotionally and physically abusive cunts whom the world would be better without.

10 years ago | Likes 39 Dislikes 1

I haven't spoken with my family in almost three years for the same reason. Good on you for getting away. You don't deserve to be abused.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Sorry to hear op, you could do what I did to get away. Just move to the complete opposite side of the world :D

10 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

i miss my dad

All mine ever did was yell at me to fold the cloths

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

As do I.

10 years ago | Likes 59 Dislikes 0

How do you know his dad?

10 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

Belatedly.

10 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Me too

10 years ago | Likes 31 Dislikes 0

I would give anything to spend just one more Christmas with my dad.

10 years ago | Likes 23 Dislikes 0

to see pops squinting & grinning at me over his newspaper...

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Same here buddy.

10 years ago | Likes 23 Dislikes 1

I miss my daddy so much. I'm sobbing on a plane. I wish I had one more Christmas with him.

10 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

I had to run to the bathroom to sob in private like a little child.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Same.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I wish I could say that, never met the man though.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Yeah, me too. 11 years since he died and I think I'm always going to want to be able to give him a call and ask for advice.

10 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

it's been really hard for me to find the folks in my life that i can share my vulnerability with like i did with the big guy

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Me too. We didn't talk for 8 years now. He has a new family, new life. Wonder if he thinks about me too sometimes.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I sure wish he were still around.

10 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

I miss my daddy so much. He was mom and dad for me.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I miss my dad from before his accident :/

10 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Me too, but I know that unconditional love defies the finality of death and that his life is restored through my memories.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I miss your mom...

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Everyday. I wish I could talk to him again.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

some part of him is still with you, in your subconscious, to talk to

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

In 2 days it'll be a year since he's been gone, he was my only family. I'm 20, alone, confused, and just want my daddy.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'd give anything to have my dad back just for a moment

10 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Same here.

10 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

I lost mine recently, you never really realize how big of a part someone played in your life until they're gone.

10 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 1

i definitely tried to minimize the guy's role in my life while he was alive. sure wish i'd asked for more advice now

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Me too. 3 years without him and it never gets easier.

10 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

And that hurt never quite goes away.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

i've almost grown attached to the hurt. it's really what i've got left

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

My last words to my dad: "see you later". Pretty good imo.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

you'll see him soon enough

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I love my dad. Imgur now knows

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I feel ya. My father died when I was eight. I'm now in my 30s. Sadly, the memories I had of him have faded.

10 years ago | Likes 39 Dislikes 0

Lost mine when I was 10. I don't even recognize him on photos :(

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

You're not alone, Lost mine when i was 9, im now 19..

10 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Bit of a curse isn't it. The younger your dad died, you crave the fact that other kids have a dad and wonder what you miss out on. The 1/2

10 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

I was 6 when it happened, 30 now. I feel ya.

10 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

more time you spend with your dad though, the more years you live together, the more painful it is to let him go. Sorry if i offended anyone

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

nah your words hit straight in the gut.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I lost my dad when I was 7 I'm 18 now and I can't remember his voice or his smell and sometimes I even forgot what his face looked like

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Mine died when I was 19 and after I'd spent almost 5 years avoiding him. We'd just agreed to meet a couple weeks before. You always think â‘

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

â‘¡ there's going to be enough time, to mend broken bridges - But you really shouldn't put it off, if you can help it.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

5 years, 2 months, 9 days. My memories still hurt. I feel guilty as hell, but sometimes I wish they'd fade, just a little... I'm horrible...

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Both of my parents are deceased.. I watched the video, have no idea what they were saying but still bawled like a baby.

10 years ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 0

Same here. My grandparents actually, but they raised me. This is my first holiday season without either of them. I have no "Home" to go to

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Regardless of genetics, I believe whoever raised you are, 'Your parents'. I think it's unfair when there's a loss and someone goes 1/2

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Oh well.. At least it's not ___. You have no idea what a person meant to someone. I offer you biggest hugs and warmest condolences :( 2/3

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Can I ask what area you live in? 3/3

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Im crying and my father and grandfather are still alive. My gf complains when I'll go over to help either of them on my day off.

10 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

Damn right I'm gonna help. I wont get another father or grandfather

10 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

Do it and never question yourself. Mine are gone now and they won't see their grandkids accomplish so much.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Exacatly! Whenever any of my friends complain about either of their parents I try to gently remind them how worse things could be.. 1/2

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I also never leave/hang up without saying 'I love you'. I've had fights with my sis were I've said, "Fck you. I love you" JUST in case. 2/2

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Me too. Feels like yesterday we were together. I'd love one last hug.

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The feels! I always wanted one of these. Unfortunately, I never met him but if I did, Damn it, I cannot imagine leaving him alone like that.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

God damn, it Dad! Every holiday. Remember on the 4th when you blew the garage up with fireworks?!?

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That's kinda fucked up.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

Yes he did

10 years ago | Likes 997 Dislikes 3

FUKIN SAVAG

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Ah, right, well then. Carry on.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Clever

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Yes and it makes me so sad that he has to do that just to see his family

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You don't understand... he's from a different time.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That's... Totally a thing that could happen in my family

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

How does a basic level of comprehension get you one of the top comments of the day?

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

ARE THEY FUCKING SORRY?

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Seriously...you'd have to be a special sort of selfish scum, to not spend Christmas with dad/mum and leave them all alone.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

yes he did and it made me cry like a little bitch

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Damn it dad we are sick and tired of your jokes. That's why we don't see you!

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Granddad is savage.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

My dad was just diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer last Sunday. I've had a lot of disagreements with him through the years. 1/2

10 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 2

I don't want to lose him. I'm 37, and I still have so much to learn from him...

10 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 2

Lost my dad in March to the same. Spend time now. You won't regret it.

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 2

So so sorry, my grandpa is in the hospital and the doctors can't figure out what is wrong w/ him, he is my dad cause mine didn't wanna be..

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

My grandfather and grandmother raised me because my father was in the military, and my mother left when I was 2 months old. 1/2

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I call them Mom & Dad. I do call my father "Dad" now, but only because it'd be too weird (for even me) to call him Daddy, at this point...

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Dude, i lost my pa seven years ago... had our fights and shit... dont know your story but if you can fix it... do it man, it can be too late

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

The longer I've been out from under his rule, the better we've gotten. He softened for my kid brother and sister though.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Sorry to hear. Love him, show him.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Yes, for Christmas dinner. It's a very controversal ad.

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Not sure how it's "controversial". I've definitely seen how family members can be 'forgotten' over the years - first hand. This hit home

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

to be fair, as you can see he spent his last 3 christmases alone as you may see in his outfits and the decoration of the trees

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

That's horrible... Why the fuck would you put your whole family through that...

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 3

So they can remember whats really important. Most people won't realize this until they've actually lost someone.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I would never forgive anyone who faked their own death just to get me to notice them, even if it was my father.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

Good for you , you sourpuss

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

he spent his last 3 xmases without his family and his wife probably died several years ago, his children will rather see it as a chance

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That is not an excuse to put your family through heartbreak.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Heartbreak which was probably forgiven, considering the guy wasn't scolded for it.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That is not an excuse to put your family through heartbreak.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Loneliness can be just as heartbreaking, and at least they get a chance to work in those 'regrets' that they wouldn't have been able to fix.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

What kind of jerk kids don't visit their father with his grandchildren?

10 years ago | Likes 371 Dislikes 11

I haven't seen mine in 26 years. Do you really want to know?

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I would never expose my future children to my father.

10 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

A lot of people are saying things like this. I made my comment with the assumption the old man was a good person. Real life is complicated

10 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Point taken, and no offense was intended to you.

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I wont visit my dad, because I'm afraid my brother will literally murder me, they keep letting him out despite 11 felony battery convictions

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

That's a good reason. I made the comment assuming the grandpa was a non crazy, normal person.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

my dad was helping me through school, my brother got out on oct 27 and beat the shit out of him and stole his SSI on nov 3 : /

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Unless he's was an asshole and horrible father. Lets assume the guy in this video isn't.

10 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

My sister

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

My dad is a junkie, alcoholic and physically and psychologically abusive. I haven't seen him for over a year and don't plant to again.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

*what kind of jerk unabused kids

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yes.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yep. Clarification would have been better. Because there are plenty of abused kids that should never consider visiting their parents. :p

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yes. I commented quickly & clarified in some replies. Lots of people are stating why they wouldn't visit their dad. Lots of good reasons

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

My father was very very physically and verbally abusive to me, threatened to kill me at 12 for leaving the light on,(1/2)

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

waved a knife in my face as a kid, he was/is an alcoholic and has told me I'll amount to nothing. All in all if I brought my future (2/3)

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

kids to visit him social services would take my kids away from me. He is a terrible father, man and human being in general

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Me for one. My dad decided he was done with my mom once me and my two sibs were grown. Haven't talked to him in seven years.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I don't because he was NEVER a father to me, and chooses to shove his religious propoganda down my throat.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

I wouldn't either. This video takes place in a fairy tale land.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

I won't visit mine, but that could be because he moved my mother and I all the way across the country and abandoned us when I was 13.

10 years ago | Likes 103 Dislikes 2

So like he drove you there, dropped you off and drove back?

10 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

He decided we should move from Cali to Ga, my mom was from here. He made a lot of money so we had a house built before we moved. He 1/?

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Stayed there because he couldn't find a job here that wasn't less than half his salary. He intended on paying off the house and then 2/?

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

These are the comments I think, but don't post.

10 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

Okay well sometimes there are exceptions. Like this one.

10 years ago | Likes 43 Dislikes 0

Distance. Over 2000km. We see each other maybe twice / year. This year 3 times because my grandfather passed away.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

i won't because my dad is an asshole and wants to arrange my marriage

10 years ago | Likes 39 Dislikes 1

I'm sorry to hear that. I completely understand if the person is overbearing (my dad used to be) or an asshole.

10 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

yeah i just wanted you to know because your comment kinda hurt since thats exactly what im going to do. I already feel bad enough about it.

10 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

I'm sorry to have hit a nerve. If it's for the betterment of you & your kids' lives, that's more important than someone else's feelings.

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I said that comment with the assumption that the old man in the video was a decent human being.

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

How many goats we talkin' tho?

10 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

This is a German Christmas ad. Going home for Christmas isn't as big of a thing over there.

10 years ago | Likes 24 Dislikes 2

Wrong

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Because it causes a decline in workforce efficiency?

10 years ago | Likes 33 Dislikes 0

Hahaha damn, its unfortunate not as many people will see this comment as would if it were a first reply.

10 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Thank you. Thank you very much.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Speak for yourself, it is usually.

10 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

A German friend told me they stick with their immediate family for Christmas day. Grandparents aren't visited. Sorry if inaccurate.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

this is a bit ironic for me. I'm going on Christmas day to Germany to spend time with my brother and his family.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I rarely visit mine because he married a religious nut. I mean this lady is CRAZY. (Note: No, she's not my bio mom and doesn't deserve --

10 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

That's a good reason. I made the comment assuming the grandpa was a non crazy, normal person.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Mine is the other way around, my mother married a religious nut. He's the reason she disowned me.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

-- the title mom, let alone stepmom.)

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

YOU'RE NOT MY REAL DAD, BARRY. I DO WHAT I WANT

10 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Typical Barry

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

No need to be rude now, Other Barry.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

We lived in different countries. He died this year, the year I finally could have made it to him for Xmas so he could meet my daughter.

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

It wasn't an option financially until now, and he wasn't physically capable.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I'm sorry to hear that. That must not be easy.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

More upset about his lost opportunity. We weren't close but I hated the idea he'd also miss out on my kid.
