Businesses can choose whether to let a dog in or not. They are trained to ask "what task is your dog trained to perform?" and in some cases like hospitality the owner must sign a liability form. Service dogs are inaccessible to most due to cost. If people want to train their own, let them. Businesses have legal ground to turn them away or kick them out (this applies to fully trained dogs who also have bad days). The "fake" service dog comments are boring. Signed, a disabled person.
I've seen what I think are at least a few of those. Some people bring their dogs into a store with them regardless. Fine by me as long as they are well behaved.
This is an exceptional moment especially considering it's a service dog, I'm thankful for this person because service dogs selflessly live 100% for their owner so moments like these are treasured for them I'm sure.
That service dog is fake. Real service dogs don't wear the cheapest harness available on amazon and a service dog is too expensive to risk injuries to their spine doing this. I didn't even let my service dog stand on escalators because I was too concerned about injuries to her feet or her fur getting caight.
Because service dogs need to be able to be non reactive in all non-emergency situations. It is not something a normal dog would ever do, but if you are blind and go to an amusement park on your own, you would need the dog to help you get to the top of the slide and then be with you at the bottom of the slide.
The trainers are rewarding hyperactive behaviour at the end of the clip. If it was a service dog in training it would not be receiving accolades for bouncing around like that because that is not how a service dog is trained to act.
We all love the warm fuzzy feeling of making life harder on a sealed person so you can have your untrained dog larp as a service animal. Nothing beats that.
That's why I love my job working at a doggy daycare. I spend my time helping dogs have fun instead of being home alone bored and destructive or anxious. I'm so lucky.
in theory I'm a dog person, but in actuality I'm not, I've got a thing. I'll say this objectively, good dogs deserve good days, they're loyal and devoted. Be the person your dog thinks you are.
Its obviously not a support dog in training. It's just a fake vest someone bought online. If it was a real support dog they would not be receiving praise for energetic disruptive behaviour.
A real support dog would be trained to remain calm and as near their client/owner as possible and to fully avoid interacting with anyone else.

Doggo has no idea what he did, but he's happy he did it and happy he did it with his owners and he's just generally happy.

The confusion on the goldens face, and then the immediate that was fun, let's do it again

Superb! Dogs > People. I'm guessing she is one of the park staff - walkie talkie.

He needs to leave once again.

Where's the one of the lady coming down the slide and every time she hits a different shoe comes off?

Does service animals react that much?
crackblind
No. It's a vest they bought from Amazon.

The one thing you cannot buy in a store is the euphoria of peril, the exhilaration of danger.
WackyWavingInflatableArmFlailingTubman
Clearly never been to the Peril Supercenter or Exhilaration of Danger boutique

And the ability to legally take your dog where you want. (It's a fake service dog we should be admonishing the owner.)

That is precisely what I am buying at the skydiving lounge

I dunno, you ever shopped for a cybertruck?

I hear those can keep the gunshots and explosions out... I mean inside.

The harness says "service dog in training". I'm not sure why this is part of the training, but I approve :-)
MechanicalRomance
The part right after they bought the fake ass vest online.
If it was a real service dog it wouldn't be getting rewarded in a way that encouraged hyperactive behaviour at the bottom of the slide.
They aren't training a service dog, they're making a mockery of the ADA

Do you ever go outside and feel the warmth of the sun? Smell the flowers? Enjoy a morning coffee? Experience any joy in your life whatsoever?

It's a very joyous video of a fake service dog. The two are not mutually exclusive.

Does a vest instantly mean it has to be a support dog?
