True

Oh. So my "social life" is like a date farm. :(

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

What kind of bullshit date is that? According to Wikipedia, “Date palms can take 4 to 8 years after planting before they will bear fruit, and start producing viable yields for commercial harvest between 7 and 10 years.” https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Date_palm

Which is why it's such a big deal when Israelis destroy the date trees that Palestinians still harvest

I agree. I've designed my garden and planted things that will take 50 years to look how I envisage. I don't have that long.

A man joins a monastery that maintains a vow of silence - the monks are only allowed to speak a few words to the abbott every 5 years. When 5 years eventually pass, the man says to the abbott 'Bed hard.' 5 years pass and when the man meets the abbott again he says 'Food cold.' 15 years after joining the monastery the man says to the abbott 'I quit.' The abbott replies 'I'm not surprised. You've been complaining ever since you got here.' *Ba-dum Tish!*

And yet no mention of the forward-thinking monk that planted those penis seeds 18 years earlier so there'd be fat dicks to eat?

Date trees produce fruit in 4 to 8 years.

I am immensely disappointed. They sounded so cool...

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yeah like a quick google shows that. 4-8 years and 7-10 years of producing dates. Those who plant dates probably always harvest dates.

2 years ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 0

Even if it took 100 years, on a plantation you can just harvest previously planted date trees unless they only plant once per 100 years. Chances are you'd both plant and harvest each season to keep a steady supply fruiting.

And here I had my suspicion this wasn't right at the "eat fat dick kid" part

2 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

Your suspicion is misguided here. I quick google search will show you that many people will, in fact, eat a fat dick.
