I'm one of these people and I like it. Being able to control when you poop, especially in the morning, makes my day so much better.

Doesn't (necessarily) seem to do anything to me. But a bit of nuance: the cheap office coffee seems to be somewhat laxative.

But that seems to be slower acting, and takes a few cups, so it could well be something else. Something to do with its cheapness, no doubt.
