Just for looks, the one in the game doesn’t have any lacing so you wouldn’t actually be able to tighten it! I could wear an actual boned corset underneath but I wanted this cosplay to be comfy

For those who know the lore: is there some justification for that wonky sword shape? It looks ineffective to me, if only the diffiuclty of making a scabbard that fits that shape.

It's not the sword the character is typically depicted with (normally she's carrying a rapier) but some weapons just look a little extra fancy compared to others.

This is outstanding cosplay as " Real Maelle". Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is one of the best games I have ever played, and I have been gaming regularly since the Amiga 1200 came out. I have finished it 3 times over 260 hours ( once in French which I speak very badly ), beaten Simon twice out of 40 or so attempts and I will play it again once my index finger recovers from all the R1 parrying as I played so much the first joint swelled up.

The Simon fight has become one of my favorite boss fights in gaming now, he was so punishing but the payoff when i finally beat him was so worth it
