Meet Mira the kitten...short for Miracle! The engine stow away.

After driving for 2.5 hours on the highway, sometimes going 140 km an hour we were unpacking our car and heard a kitten in the garage...we don't have cats...then discovered it was in our engine bay. It was too hot to pull it out, so we took the video bc we didn't think anyone would believe us. (Def unmute)

She crawled out on her own accord and stuck to us like glue, a biscuit making, purring machine. There were no visible marks and she didn't flinch at any touch, in fact, she leaned in like she needed all the cuddles. We obliged.

Our son suffers with severe allergies and it wouldn't be fair to either of them so I have a friend who fosters kittens for a rescue. She took her within 2 hours of her being found and we are SO grateful. Mira the kitty has been vaccinated and will be spayed in a couple weeks.
I know two things can be true at the same time...I can be heartbroken I didn't get to keep her AND be grateful someone else is loving her.
