The US doesn't seem to be ready for a female president.
Canadians (and Germans) and most of the world enjoy their healthcare and other qualities of life because they don’t have to spend all their money on their military. The only reason they don’t, is because the United States is their ally and is keeping the truly dangerous countries like China and Russia in check. While it may be fun to mock Americans, America is the reason for a lot of good things
I sincerely believe if you took 100 random Germans and 100 random Americans, the incredibly wide array of smart to dumb that exists within America would give Germany a legit chance based on picks.
As I said, it's only a matter of time now. And the sad part is: Basically for the same reasons as in the US: Not one party out there, that has the trust of the people, that they are going the right thing, as in, something that helps the every day person to a better life situation. They all fucked around for some 30 years, and if anything, it mostly went downhill. Most things did not improve at all for at least that long. Same as in the US.
