Nice try turning that word around on us piggy. You'll never convince us that ai trash is anything more than slop. Churn it out by the bucketful, slap it on every ad you can, it's still slop. It's still trash.
Tractor replaced millions of agriculture jobs. Automobile replaced whole industry of cart drivers, hay makers, horse breeders, blacksmiths and farriers. Computer killed the typist, calculator and draftsmen jobs, halved the accountants and editors. Would I mention mechanical loom and weavers? New tools make people work more efficiently. People get freed to do other things.
If you are not a hysterical AI hater, you are a part of a social base for AI acceptance. These people think if they will run in rounds screaming against AI, it will magically disappear. People who jump on the train early and learn the relevant skills will wave those who stay behind.
Freed, or sent to lower paying jobs? The wealthy, and those in power will not be allowing the average person to not”work” while they further develop themselves, make art, or simply create. Those in positions of power will demand labor for survival from those who are not from wealthy/powerful families
And you are stopping this how? Downvoting someone who has nothing to do with it? Tech changes and the super wealthy will not stop because people will suffer. They don't care.
You cannot argue in good faith that the changes I mentioned did worsen the quality of life of the people in a long term. Even the people who where immediately hit by the change and had to work hard to adapt in most cases where improving. Digging the ground with a shovel summer and winter is not exactly a picnic. Moving to factory would be a step up. And please. Deliver me from that "oh, that is a conspiracy of the superwealthy drinking the working class blood" bullshit, ok?
The point is, the progress of technology moves people from blunt, unpleasant, dangerous jobs toward some jobs that are killing you less. Sure, people now are forced to put more effort into preparing themselves. They have to learn to read and write. And on some jobs they have to actually read. And some of them even have to learn new things in the middle of their life. That is much tougher than a simple job of digging the ground with a shovel while you can then starving to death.

Like another commenter said, wouldn't notice. Thise type of signs are just to much to look at and try to read in the first place.
squishybaker
All LLM images need to be watermarked.
dreikommavierzehn
They are. But not all are visibly watermarked too, which I guess is what you mean.
sneakypoo
You're right, I wont notice. Because these types of signs is just noise that I filter out.

The first has a star in the corner: made with Nano Banana. The rest all have the loolalike you get when using AI.

Y'all would know, considering your deep discerning tastes in slop, I guess.
drousnavat
The signs all look like they were made by AI and there has been a massive trend of people refusing services that use AI advertising.
TheImgurWarsMadeMe
Given how bad people can be at sorting out better AI generated images from regular or just photoshopped ones, that doesn't fill me with confidence.
ViolentlyJaded
Some jobs will be replaced by AI. Some won't. It will be sad and interesting to see

I get why people don't like AI, but downvoting me won't change that reality. The truth is, as you say, times change, industries evolve.
