I was initially surprised at how good it sounded, but when you think about it, it's basically just a man talking and some simple instrumentation (and it's being recorded from a single source of sound anyway). Might not sound as good if you have to have an actual band perform the piece live.

Simply said analog just records the continuous curved wave, digital mostly if not all is always rendered sawtooth quality wave. Any traveling wave sound is a continuous smooth lined wave, no matter the frequency.

Seems so but this is also why so called audiophile's get laughed at. Much of what is strived for can't be heard by most, the loss from recording mediums and transferring between tech exists, and analog vs digital giving different life is subjective. It's like saying CRT beats current OLED because of x factors.

I mean yeah I get liking vinyls or tapes for their unique sound.
(Also: CRTs are actually better for niche applications like retro gaming because they handle low-res content vastly differently than modern screens)
But saying that they are objectively better is just idiotic. Ok, so if. 44.1Khz 16-bit, 1,411kbps audio isn’t enough for you, you can get .flac with 192khz 24-bit and 4,600kbps. If you tell me anything other than the raw studio recording file is objectively better you’re just wrong.
