Public Speed-trap Warning

Aug 27, 2016 12:28 AM

You know those occasional little towns that are REALLY proud of their speed limits? To the point that the ticketing regime becomes their income? Woodworth LA is one of the worst offenders. And finally, someone is calling them out on it. You're a hero, Joey.

Fucking pigs. Doing their job enforcing laws and shit...

So Dr420 is promoting cracking down on illegal drug use? There are divisions dedicated to those things as well.

Speed traps are set up in such a way that people commonly and accidentally violate the posted limits.

Speed limits are determined through civil engineering, not randomly assigned to trick you into getting a ticket.

This is hopelessly naive.

I really wish that were true. State legislation decide it in the USA.

That's bullshit. There is a road in my town that goes from 55 to 35 to 45 to 20 in 5 miles. Limit was 50 the whole way, changed in February.

I tell you what, do a little research as to why and how the speed limit was actually changed. Then get back to me...

No reason. It had been 50 for almost 30 years with no problems, straight 4 lane road through open country now there is a cop every 100 yards

but how about the people just stop going above the speed limit?
