I haven't seen The Exorcist in Years.

One time I woke up with my head at the foot of the the bed sheets on the floor, fitted sheet wrapped around me, but somehow the comforter was gently draped over me in the correct direction?

2 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

You should try turning that light off

2 years ago | Likes 28 Dislikes 0

Then how would they get fake Internet points?

2 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

It's like me trying to fall asleep. Also, why only one duvet? I'm not fricking sharing, if I had a partner, there'd be 2 LARGE duvets in the bed. I'm a burrito of my own.

Someone needs a weighted blanket. A heavy one.

2 years ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 0

About 50 pounds should do it.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The exact reason I got myself a weighted blanket AND a body length "U" shaped pillow. Combine the two and I aint going no where in my sleep

2 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Worst birthday ever

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I want to see one where they're both like that.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

And he's probably just snoring like a log the entire time.

2 years ago | Likes 124 Dislikes 1

Since the lights are on, I'm guessing it's fake.

good lord people, separate bedrooms will save your relationship.

2 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 2

If he is in fact sleeping, he seems fine.

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I can relate. I move around A LOT during the night. Weighted blanket on, off. Sheet on, off. Fan mid level, low, high, back to mid. Hard pillow, soft pillow, back to hard. Bedkata, yo.

People move like this when the mattress isn't comfortable for them.

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

OK weird foreplay....

You could put a piece of dough under her and get ready to make some pizza

Get 2 full size beds and let each other sleep.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I take this personally

How do people sleep in the position they first laid down in? I can only sleep if every limb is in the optimal angle and at the optimal temperature

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

You can sleep in separate beds.

Reminds me of Her Morning Elegance https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2_HXUhShhmY

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I remember that. Pretty cool.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

This is pretty much me. Apparantly I try to get my daily cardio in my sleep. I also sleepwalk and talk in my sleep.

2 years ago | Likes 67 Dislikes 2

I have had and having stressful situations lately which has caused me to sleep walk. I now will make a peanut butter sandwich then leave it, put all but the butter knife back in it's proper places. I have found the butter knifes, in the freezer, on my computer chair, in the shower and beside my tooth brush

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Do you at least feel well rested when you wake up?

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Lol no, neither does anyone else in the room.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

you should 100% see a sleep professional regarding sleep walking; it can be dangerous.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

"Hey baby. Are you exhausted? ....from running in my dreams all night?" "Nah, must've been some other chick. My sleeprunning and -yoga wouldn't even get me out of bed even when the alarm rang"

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I started talking in my sleep in the last year. Sometimes I even yell. Is there anything I can do to stop it?

2 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 1

Sudden onset of sleep talking and walking could be a few things. Sleep apnea or unusual stress can be two of the big ones. Talk to your doctor about a sleep assessment and/or see a therapist about managing your stress.

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Same diet and exercise bullshit as everything else might apply.

I noticed I have more instances of sleep paralysis and sleep talking if I've slept too much.

Also, if it just started, could there be a new med? Sertraline fucked my sleep up. That's not even supposed to be a side effect.

2 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

I'm medicated, but nothings new, not even dosage change. Maybe it's because I sleep too much and don't exercise like I used to. ☹️

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Change in manufacturer? That can do it.

But, yeah, try with exercise. It doesn't have to be high impact. I can spend 20 minutes on my stair stepper or 3 hours pacing and it has the same effect. The goal is getting my brain to stop overthinking.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Oh, yes actually. My antidepressant DID change the manufacturer!! So I guess now I sweat less in my sleep but I started talking. Weird. My favorite exercise is hula hooping because it doesn't feel like exercising and I can do it anywhere.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Ah, the blanket death roll. This is why you put two blankets on the bed.

2 years ago | Likes 348 Dislikes 2

Wife threw hers off, stole mine and then threw that off her side too.

Now she has 5 of her own

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You need to tie one to your side of the bed.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

100% I become a blanket burrito. Sharing blankets is not an option.

2 years ago | Likes 56 Dislikes 0

It's not just that, it's the burrito to open-face* pipeline. Rolling it around yourself, then completely under yourself, so that your partner can't even pull a bit of a corner out.

*The only analogous food I can think of

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

2 comforters! Ffs my now wife was amazed when I said this one is yours and this one is mine. HANDS OFF!

2 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 0

So how does it work? If you have a king size bed do you just get 2 queens? I wouldn’t want it hanging all on the floor and everything. Also how do you make the bed?

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Get whatever size you prefer, but double/full is probable good enough. Fold them in half lengthwise and set one on either side of the bed OR just layer them on top of each other if you don't mind pulling them apart at bed time. Also, this doesn't really work if you use a top flat sheet.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Yeah we just have a duvet, no top sheet or anything. We both sleep hot so oddly the duvet usually ends up in the center with us both spooning from the outside

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yep! My partner and I each have our own blankets, it works out better for everyone.

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Two blankets is so much better.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Accordianed on the side for the inevitable

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It saved me. My husband runs too hot alllllll the time! I get to be warm without sweating and he can cool down with fewer blankets. 2 is the best

2 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

Same except I run hot, he runs cool but also he likes scratchy material which does not work for me at all, though we can agree on the material for the fitted sheet at least lol

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

My partner and I have separate blankets in bed. I have been married over 10 years. These are not unconnected facts.

2 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

Why would you have only one? This an US-thingy?

2 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 3

So I'm in the colder US. And it's often a shared under the blanket space... three quilts / blankets deep. I don't even do just one blanket on the couch.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I'm in Canada and it's usual here for couples to share a blanket. My husband and I don't though, we have very different blanket preferences.

2 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Thanks for the answer, so it's not only common in the US to share a blanket. Where I live (Germany) we always have to separate blankets.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

That and my husband's farts at night literally gag me. He can keep those in his comforter.

2 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Tell him I said to remember that sticking his ass in your blanket to fart at night is always an option.

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Then I know what I am making for breakfast

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

On one hand i wanna send this to my gf but on the other hand i also dont wanna sleep on the couch for the next week.

2 years ago | Likes 544 Dislikes 11

I mean, if this video is relevant... are you sure?

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Okay, but if you were sleeping on the couch and her restlessness in bed still managed to find its way to knocking you off the couch, you would definitely win the argument.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Not a fan of the Vance Special?

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

If your girl doesn't have a sense of humor, that's her problem not yours.

I’m the wife. I sleep like her. I just sent this to my husband. Heh.

Yes! Most likely a joke, but if is not that is huge red flag.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

This needs the four panel meme:
You get a week?
You get a month?
You get a year?
You are allowed to sleep on the couch?

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Ahh to be young and in a relationship where someone can't take a joke.

2 years ago | Likes 25 Dislikes 2

on the other hand 100% guarantee the couch is closer to the fridge than your bed. sneak in a shredded cheese run (or four).

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Damn. Sorry to hear that.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I sent this to my boyfriend because fuck if that isn't me.

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

turn your couch into a bed with this simple trick

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The trick is to get a really comfy couch

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

That's toxic. Don't go to bed angry or separate.

2 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 10

At Least you’ll sleep

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Just make her cum real hard, and then massage her feet while she’s radiating from glow, and secretly place some shim wedges underneath the bed feet on your side. Then make her cum one more time.

Not like you'd actually be sleeping if you were in the bed

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Idk, the only thing colder than my ex's heart was her feet.

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I move to the couch when they can't stop snoring. Go get a sleep apnea test, you're not welcome back in my bed until you get one.

Don't get me started on how creepy catathrenia is. Nocturnal groaning my ass. Try waking up to someone gasping in, holding their breath, face planting into the pillow, then making that noise from The Ring when they finally breathe out.

The couch and I are friends.

2 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

I never knew my weird breath holding had a name. Freaked out every bed partner I've ever had.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

It has a name. It's not dangerous for you. There literally seems to be no negative side effects to you. It scares the crap out of anyone sleeping next to you.

He can have the bed, I'll sleep in the yard... near the coyotes... kind of scary.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I knew I snore loudly but it was only when I traveled and shared a hotel room with my mom, and she actually recorded me, that I asked to get a sleep apnea test. The sounds I made were fucking scary. Oh yeah it's severe sleep apnea and now I may have to carry my cpap when I travel, but I'm not ashamed to sleep next to someone anymore. Hella unsexy, though.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Being alive is sexy. Waking up next to a corpse is not.

Good on you for taking care of your health!

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Everyone in our hause snores. Even the cats. The sleep apnea tests were negative for the humans.

2 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

It's ultimately that your tongue is pressed up against your soft pallet, for whatever reason. There are lots of doodads that you can get, depending on your mouth, while you sleep

2 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Interesting. Makes me wonder if I can snore anymore then. My soft pallet is completely gone. Just a giant hole now

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

We tried. We got to a point to need each others snoring to sleep properly.

2 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

My ex started wearing head and mouth gear. He was tested for sleep apnea. He had it hands down if he slept on his back. Apneas went down to almost nothing if he slept on his side.

The catathrenia happened with him sleeping on his face. (Yes, he would do that in his sleep. )

The head gear just seemed to remind him to sleep on his side.
