Planes rely on air passing over their airfoils. They would be unable to be stationary while in flight due to the reduction in lift and would fall to the ground.
The green grass in the windows was the biggest clue. The lack of wind flapping and the door not pushed shut were big hints, too. The propeller might be stationary with the engine off, but not the rest.
If you're looking at this image and don't see the propeller not moving, the door casually open, and a dude just standing in what would have to be 100+ mph winds and don't think it's photoshop, I don't know if you should be telling anyone else who's stupid.

Only wings he’s touched are chicken.

Hell Yeah
noReallyIamPrincessBob
Apparently the prop doesn’t have to turn once you are up in the air.
putcleverusernamehere
Ding ding ding winner winner chicken dinner
SamAndJanetEvening
This is correct. It only has to turn if you want to remain in the air.

Don’t matter. Still gets a hell yeah

I have “jumped” off worse. A c-182 is a small plane.
RobJenkins
Less windy up there than I thought
ProfessorDumbass
Turned the fan off so there is no wind /s
noReallyIamPrincessBob
That’s what I was thinking.
Jbeales2
Probably just parked it for the photo
Ghlargh
Someone should tell airliner pilots about this, if they have a failure they can just park and drop a line down, no need to crash.
DudeWhoDoesntGetTheJoke

So they better hurry with that picture and get going

Some might say it's faked

People who make hats will say that.

I'm more interested in his clothes, which are obviously impervious to the effects of wind.

The door.

It’s ok, he set the parking brake.

His clothes are used to the effect of physics

Joke’s on you. Plane is in stall

These new nanomaterials will change the fashion industry as we know it!

Hell yeah. Learning to photoshop images is a useful skill to learn!
PaulHavingABall
You can tell because of the angles.
Snark42
Imagine trying to open that forward swinging door while flying at even a very slow speed. Like trying to open a car door while driving 85km/h.
Rockafella83
Yeah, hell
retrogood
You can tell it's Photoshop because his hair isn't moving in the wind.
tesrym
What gave it away? The stationary propeller?
notanotheruselessusername
The inconsistent shadows. His head shadow goes to his front but his body shadow doesn't go the same way
michiyl
Waviness on the borders of the plane, and the "very close" patches of green we can see through the windows right in the center of the image
TimTheEnchanter01
I’m reasonably sure the Cherokee door won’t open into the airstream. At least i don’t think it’ll stay open unassisted.
TK421isAFK
And his shirt isn't billowing in the slightest.
PanNonOpticon
The door. You can hardly open the door of a car at speed and then this guy is casually standing next to one at airplane speeds.
BlindGardener
No, the angle of the picture: Who took the shot from where?
PhantomWatson
I did. I was there that day. Standing on the wing of an adjacent plane.
Base841

AllTheGoodOnesWereGone
I think the guy casually standing on the wing with the door open was a clue.
WeeemRCB
Maybe the door not trying to slam shut
poundingCode
Why photoshop when men are exactly that stupid
IWANTFUNNY
Stupid? Looks like good fun, but would have added a parachute for personal safety
bobstrange
Honestly "Humans" are exactly that stupid across the board. Its a miracle we got this far.
AltruisticMoron
A women once asked me what fire hydrants are for. She was 23. I try not to judge an entire gender based on one data point 😉

Ghlargh
People have done this stunt thousands of times. Just not this specific person in this moment, the T-shirt isn't blown by the air.
BaklavaWearingBalaclavaWhilePlayingBalalaikaOnBlackLava
He definitely is doing the stunt for real, just on the ground, obviously. Gotta be safe
Ghlargh
That's usually called posing (for a photo).
mikeatike
And the propeller isn't turning.
LaughingInTheFaceOfDanger
Hahaha
MacAwesome
Thats often the case with photographs
mikeatike
No normal camera is gonna freeze the motion perfectly on something spinning 2000-3000 rpm.
