I know this will get just enough down votes to cancel my fake internet score, but I couldn’t resist showing the side-by-side. I’ve had him for just over 7 years.
Buck, who’s original name is Larry, was dropped off as a stray.
I saw him before he could be adopted and I fell in love, as did his brother and my mom.
Had to wait until the 28-Day Stray-Hold was lifted to apply for adoption. I arrived at the shelter the day it lifted, and because I was the first to apply, I got him!
He is also the subject of graphic-novel-ish story I have in my head.
About a the journey to home by a little pup who worked in the Circus and was named Larry the Leaper”...at least when the story begins.
TL;DR I adopted a dog who was once a stray. Yawn.
