Imgur Summer Games Caturday Post: New Cat (first week update)

So this lost little girl came out of the woods last Monday, and we decided to keep her. Original post here: http://imgur.com/gallery/q4e977W

We named her Etta James. Her big orange brother is Elmore James. Elmore was ready to kill her the first day or two.

Got her to the vet, and they vaxxed her up and gave antibiotics for her respiratory problems. Also... SURPRISE! Our little girl is actually a little boy, approximately 6mos old.

Name change was in order... Etta James is now officially McKinley Morganfield (we call him Muddy). He's still a baby and wants to love on my, my gal, Phoebe (the dog), and Elmore nonstop. He found his sweet spot on my office desk.

In my original post I predicted that the two of them would friends within a week. At least I got something right...

Elmore's play style is still a little rough for Muddy, as big brothers tend to be. Muddy still follows him everywhere though , as little brothers tend to do.

Stinky weenie tax. Phoebe is mostly indifferent to the new addition, even though he follows her around too, trying to nuzzle against her.
