In my community one of the loudest most vile mouth pieces for a worse America is a librarian and more and more books disappear every time I go there. When I asked about it I was told they're "making room for future initiatives" without any explanation about what they're doing that needs that much space.

The fact that so many people online treat libraries like they're these universal sacred havens of progressivism shows that y'all haven't been to libraries out in the more rural towns. A lot of those, particularly here in the midwest, tend to be the center of whatever WASPy community of retirees and soccer moms controls the county government.
