That and… for some reason there was always an audio recording device running in their private residence.
slamorama
This. Who the hell was doing all this recording and why?
Voric13
She still slated for Aquaman 2?
BryanLaserEpee
Time was drastically cut for her part in the movie
hoboispope
I‘ll let her abuse me, if yah know wht I am sayin
ButtersTheCat
I hate her so much for this. The amount of damage she's done to the #MeToo movement is incalculable. She's given anti-feminists an arsenal.
Asharil
I agree with the sentiment. But this case is basically two drug addicts with a shitload of cash fighting it out in court. Team Depp though.
LeftRightThere
asmasm
Yeah. She only had to say the words and we initially believed her. I can't imagine why that is. Hey OP, do you have stats on DV handy?
Stage5Klingon
Amber Turd- doing what she does best
gorillaClutch
Counter point. This whole thing has been hijacked by people with personal agendas and turned into consumable entertainment for profit.

that and just regular youtube channels or social media posters treating it like it's a tv series to "react" to and make memes of
LazerBeamButtHole
5 amber heard posts in a row. You don’t have an agenda do you @OP?
That's incorrect. I have an agenda I want awareness and justice. I want amber to be known as an abuser and held accountable.
WayBetterThanYourUsername
19 of your last 20 comments were about this subject in defense of Amber Heard, so what's your point?
You see my actions but don’t read my words? I’d like to see @OP stop spamming this case. It benefits no domestic violence victims.
bringing awareness that a woman can be a abuser that a man can be a DV victim does not benefit DV victims because they are men?
Making a joke out of their mutually abusive relationship isn’t benefiting anyone.
its not mutual. she abused him physically he did not. bringing awareness benefits everyone.
xXCarpeNoctumXx
if you look even further in the comments I'd say roughly half of their comments are about Amber Turd
Half my comments over around 7 years? Lol!
I'll grant I only went back a week in your comments...mostly because I'm already tired of seeing Ms Turd's face everywhere...
If women are so easily believed why does it take dozens of women to come forward if the man holds any power before any of them are believed?
mrthewhitee
Turns out people just generally don't beleive the abused... although they beleive women more than men right now.
butthurtnevergetsbetter
The basic problem is that only the victim of abuse has a problem. Everyone else is fine. It takes extra effort to care.

I don't think it's necessarily that they aren't believed it's more that the power prevents justice from being served
JustDontCare
Men suffer a lot. In many many ways. The solution though is not about taking sides but acknowledging faults and fixing them.
You’ll notice by my comment history that I agree. I’m not sure if you’re directing this at me or @OP
Not really at you. You had the most relevant reply, because the original image seems to unnecessarily demonise one gender.
when the entire issue is that demonising a gender is the exact problem leading to these issues.
I agree. I hate that they chose to televise it and seeing it made into a meme is sickening.
Many women lie about domestic abuse as a tool. Many men are abusers and rapists. Both bad. And we have to recognise it when it happens.
And punish it accordingly. Like all these fucking rapists getting off with a slap on the wrist? Fuck that noise.
it just took a single amber her word and that was it.
MermaidLullaby
Amber is a trash person. But let's be honest... men are the primary abusers towards all genders. We have a really long history of that.
sure it does not mean men don't get abused by women it's just that nothing more.
I agree, women can be abusers. Women are also routinely disbelieved the same way men are. It's a issue for all genders.
yep take all accusations seriously woman or man, do a thorough investigation first then punish the one who is the real victim.
Like... a REALLY long history. REALLY REALLY long history. Women's oppression has been a thing for... reasons.
I see you’ve chosen to ignore the reality of the situation.
it is a fact it just took a single amber that's the reality.
TheMouseOfMadness
And if you keep cherry picking a single instance while sticking your fingers in your ears for every other example, you might believe that
Sure, if you ignore that facts.
what other woman then amber came forward and accused him of abuse?
This is ignoring the context of the me too movement and hundreds of women coming forward in Hollywood about abuse from men
GermanShepherdGuy
The sad thing is it’s only when women/men that really already have a platform and speak out that is any thing is every really done.
WeatherWiz
By all means, he’s just as guilty as her. But this is true and probably why guys are mocked/not taken serious if they speak up about abuse.
RootMeanSqr
Or women.
I disagree. I think they brought out the worst in each other, but she instigated a lot of his behavior. People can only take so much
psychological abuse, before they snap. If you've never met someone who is literally capable of driving you crazy, count your blessings.
Women are rarely taken seriously as well
I feel like that’s sorta changed though. The metoo movement has given more women a chance to speak out
It has but it still takes dozens of women to come out before they’re taken seriously if the man hold even an ounce of power.
not true. the word of a single amber without evidence was enough to bring down a "powerful" depp.
Rahava
Amber is also more powerful than the average woman though. Not that I don't disagree that false accusations are a problem but this isnt 1/2
Well that’s probably true for let’s say celebrities. But the avg person I feel like one person is enough to have that investigated
That doesn’t seem to be the case in colleges or for athletes.
Humanfrenchfry
I've seen more women ruin men's careers because they falsely accused them of sexual assault due to them not getting their way at work
gamblingpoet
How many lives have been ruined due to rape/sexual assault? False accusations make the news because they are rare.
No they definitely are not
Women routinely get murdered from domestic abuse because their male abusers face no consequences. Long track history of that happening...
Really? How many? I’ve been working for decades and haven’t experienced that.

That's really great for you. Just because you haven't personally noticed it means it never happened to any human ever?
Please point me to where I said that? My statement is just as valid as the one above. Your bias is showing
that's not true. he did not physically abuse her. he was physically abused.
Considering he drinks $300 bottles of wine most days he is just as likely to be abusive as her. He is a better actor on the witness stand.
CorrectMostOfTheTime
How is drinking expensive wine a sign of abuse? This is why we can’t take people like you seriously
there is a strong link between alcohol and abuse. It's not that hard to use your little brain cell. give it a try. It's he said she said.>
>I don't give a crap about either of them, but find it amusing how people defend one over the other when they don't know shit about them.
Kottok
Abuse takes many forms my friend.
didn't he throw the phone at her and hit her in the face? and there was proof of the injuries? I mean they are both trash people.
that is incorrect. he did not do that no evidence of that was shown in court.
i mean even ellen barkin said he threw a wine bottle at her years ago. abusive people are abusive.
that is incorrect again. she said she was there when he threw a bottle to a corner of the room and not at her they were not fighting
steve1907
What evidence do you think there is that heard was abusive, that also doesn’t equally exist for Depp and point towards him being abusive.
DarkZalgo
There's so far 0 concrete evidence produced to show Depp physically abused her at all. She's admitted under oath that she hit him.
That a very selective interpretation of what she said, she said in court she hit him when he was attacking her sister.
Which (if true) she was acting in defence of another, so equally there is still zero evidence that she physically abused him too.
