I got this to mostly work. The problem is that there is no reasonable way to force an animated image to play back from the beginning every time. It still looks cool, though. Most of the time. :p If anyone has any input on this, please message me.

Firefox:

Requires GreaseMonkey addon to load the userscript.

Chrome:

Requires TamperMonkey addon to load the userscript.
Requires APNG extension because Chrome does not yet support animated PNGs. Yes, PNG was necessary, because GIF transparency is terrible.

Once you install the GreaseMonkey/TamperMonkey addon and restart your browser, navigate to the Greasyfork page I linked and click the "Install this script" button. It should just work in Firefox at that point, but in Chrome you will have to install the APNG extension as well.
