That time Tracy Jordan tried to spook Betty White to complete a Rule of 3s thing.

Man, I wish she would have lived a few more weeks and made it to 100. I bet they were planning a huge party!

Thank you for being a friend.
Ship it down the road and back again!

"Betty white forever" sounds like a warcry at the old-age home

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Or a Deadpool warcry.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Who do you think is leading the rebellion?

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Do what Betty would love - give to your local pet shelter.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I can think of worse celebrities to lick

You had to make it weird. (But seriously, made me chuckle +1)

She had a dirty mind, she'd approve of that comment

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

She would've *said it first!*

Don't worry I'm sure the Fuhrer will get his own stamp, you can lick that one. Plus they will only cost 1 Bitcoin a piece.

2 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 5

1 bitcoin is a ton of actual cash. For one stamp?!?

2 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

I was curious but holy shit.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It will help benefit the cause

2 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 2

Cause he wants your money.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Or you can just help us out at the USPS and buy stamps anyway even if you don't use them.

2 years ago | Likes 24 Dislikes 3

Anyone want a pen pal!?

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

How does that help?
Fuck it, I’ll buy some stamps to be supportive. Start sending friends random postcards. Why not.

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Because we are entirely self funded, we don't get any tax payer money. Been that way since Nixon.

2 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Right on. I’ll grab some stamps and some stupid postcards this week. Send ‘em to friends that I can’t afford Xmas gifts for, haha.

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I already give money to the government. It's called taxes. Why would I willingly give more just because they can't budget it properly?

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 19

Because taxes don't pay for the USPS; the USPS pays for itself!

2 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

The USPS has been self funded since Nixon. That way we can't be robbed by congress to pay for their pet projects like they've done to SS.

2 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

You’d be fine if the GOP hadn’t made you fully pre-fund like, what, 70 years of retirement benefits?

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

Not really, we tried a couple years ago to raise the rate of stamps by 5 cents and a civilian seud is and won. We just aren't allowed to raise our rates to match the cost of everything either.

Well, conservatives did try to cripple USPS during W. Bush’s administration. Forcing the USPS to prebudget all employee pensions unlike any other government agency.

The plan was to force it to fold and private companies to take over, but online ordering had such a boom, that USPS stayed afloat.

The only government agency specifically mentioned in the Constitution. And republicans want to kill it.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That's not true. The USPS has been self funded since Nixon. And prefunded pensions is why I'm still here because no matter what happens I'll have something to retire on.

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

I mean, forcing them to prebudget pensions would impact available operating budgets regardless of being self funded or not.

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

Except that happened 20 years after the fact

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

This is the stamp btw. Nice.

If it is not an actual stamp they cross out the forever so someone can't print it and try to use it.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

My brain wants to read it as "Forever white"

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

It moans when you lick it

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Upvoting civility, and mutual respect.

2 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

She never passed, she ascended.

2 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

I think that is to prevent counterfeiting. Stamps are worth real money

2 years ago | Likes 26 Dislikes 0

I'd lick it.
