Watch the 3rd gif in full. That green tint is similar to the shade used in welding helmets. Without it the light is to intense to see.

Not all welding works like this. This is TIG or Tungsten Inert Gas welding. This is the clean sexy but hard to master welds.

welding aluminium requires AC wich creates a spherical probe tip. also the melted material is not as "flowy" as steel or its variants
That and watch the parent material on the HAZ, dead ringer with how the oxide layer reacts to being welded.
