Yeah, sure, but if you guys are doing cool shit, then why don't I get to just move there right now with full support for relocation? I mean, is that really so much to ask?

More importantly is how much is at the stake. Many can be trusted with $20.. No pun intended. Or was it? IDK. But much less could be trusted with $1M...

On a semi-related note, I think most of the rest of the world tends to DRASTICALLY overlook how much the USA's sheer size (both in terms of geography and population) fuck with trying to govern a country. Even countries like Australia or Canada, though MASSIVE, also have barely a handful of cities account for a much larger proportion of their population.

Many of those who voted for Trump are Catholics who were guided by the Pope to not vote for Harris because of her stand on reproductive rights. Just saying

Wow ,Did not know that. WTF.

My neighborhood was filled with Catholics for Trump signs provided by the local churches. Ireland may one day face a demented populist politician who manipulates the situation in a similar way and get the support of the Pope. What would happen then?

The Catholic church is not popular one bit here. Especially with people 50 and younger. But yeah I see your point
