I like parts of this, but it also pits the two ideas against each other. Have gender and social equality does not push towards an ecological ceiling. It doesn't cost us anything. We can also greatly increase the ecological ceiling, without pushing against the social foundation.

I guess my problem with this, is it promotes a lot of the same ideas I hear republicans spouting, that a strong economy is at odds with climate change. That it's one or the other.

It connects so many different areas of the world that it has to oversimplify things. That's fine, every scientific model is wrong, but they doesn't automatically mean they're not useful.

I do think this one isn't useful though. It oversimplifies to the point of being misleading and favoring incorrect ideas, and those incorrect ideas are frequently used against the point of the image.
