It's a blessing and a curse, Captain. She's your vessel, she takes a lot of money, but she's yours to captain. You'll be sad when you get to the end of the line and she can't go on anymore. You keep your hands on the wheel and the eyes on the road
Needed to fix my brake system for a while. Finally have enough money and time to dedicate to it. Find one problem after another. Now costs have soared to more than double projected estimate. Also have to renew registration next month. FML.
If you can move somewhere where you can easily get around with public transportation or a bicycle / e-bike, it's absolutely worth it. I've never owned a car in my life. There were times where I wished I had one, but that would not have been worth paying 3k - 6k per year.
From the series "Skeleton Soldier Couldn't Protect The Dungeon", an incredibly weak skeleton is sent back in time to its summoning every time it's killed. It's well done, good art style, interesting plot. 100% recommend.

Try owning two (or more) cars!

My sperm donor told me that if it's got tits or wheels, you've always got your hand in your pocket....

Damn, I miss being able to read that series. The website I use for it went down a couple months ago and still isn't back up :c

I haven't owned a car since 1988, and I think that has given me a financial advantage over so many people; it really needs to be explored.
