Not really. It's far too big and unwieldy for hunting or self/home defense. The vast majority of weird firearms like this exist because someone thought: "I wonder if I can make this weird caliber/form combination work?" That's what you have here.

Not used for ANYTHING else, EVER! lol. I've seen that gun shot two dozen times in different videos, not once was ort used to kill anything in any of those videos. YOU might only use it to kill. Nobody I've seen has.
It's not something you keep at home for self defence, it's way too big & heavy to carry and it's way too stupid for anything official like military or police. Maybe you could take it to hunting in case of bear attacks, but again it's too big and heavy and there are better options.
