Freed for attacking police with grenade - Sweden
So there was a grenade attack on a Police van in Sweden last year (one of about 40 grenade attacks total if I remember correctly, not counting ordinary shooting of course) and they got the guy after he bragged about doing it and prosecuted him with his dna on pieces of the grenade found at the scene. Also prosecuted for various illegal firearms and robberies.
He was freed for the grenade attack because his story that "someone forced me to handle the grenade" was believed.

In general, the state of the Swedish police is horrible right now. 80% are thinking of quitting according to polls, but the police chief 1/3
