Way to go Orange Cheeto. What a fucking amazing diplomat.
Vessels flying Chinese, Iranian and Russian flags have been seen sailing into South Africa's main naval base in Simon's Town on the Cape Peninsula in recent days.
The week-long drill got under way on Friday. It is being led by China - and involves other members from an alliance of major developing countries.

I mean, yeah, Trump's an asshole, but what exactly are those countries going to do? For fuck's, last time Iran fucked with the USN we sank half their damn Navy before lunchtime. Russia's Navy is a goddamn joke, and the PLAN buys their ship off TEMU.
Fuck em.

Easy. China talks with Canada and Mexico, then they all stop sending rare earth metals and regular metals, and also stops cheap manufacturing of the shit we buy. China then creates a stronger silk road to developing countries, and then... waits. That's it, they just have to wait. it may take 5 or 10 years while we get rid of our fascist problem if we survive. We will tear ourselves apart from the inside while we die from measles or the bird flu or pollution... and/or civil war.

Yeah, somehow I just don't see either Canada or Mexico doing that, much less China gimping the ever lasting shit out of their own economy by turning off the money faucet. Also, we're not hurting for resources, we just prefer to exploit everyone else's resources first because it's cheaper.

I used to think that too until I realized just how much the USA relies on OCONUS suppliers. Trump was forced to walk back certain tariffs. Pay attention to those (Rubber is a great example), and you will see that it is impossible to make the USA fully independent, which seems to be his goal. Note that he got rid of every smart military strategist that was telling him that.
